📋 Description
- • Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of financially complex mass affluent clients within the Truist footprint, establishing new relationships or managing existing ones.
- • Deliver personalized, high-touch service across a broad range of retail banking, mortgage, investment, insurance, and financial planning solutions tailored to mass affluent clients.
- • Conduct comprehensive financial profiling and personal financial planning analysis to understand client needs, goals, and risk tolerance, and use this to recommend integrated financial solutions.
- • Proactively collaborate with Truist financial advisors to ensure investment accounts align with client-specific asset allocation objectives and investment policies.
- • Meet and exceed revenue growth, profitability, and client retention targets by acquiring new clients, expanding services to existing clients, and marketing new products through the Truist referral network.
- • Utilize the bank’s contact management system to monitor, maintain, and update sales activity, pipeline data, and client interactions to support sales management processes.
- • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) partners including banking, mortgage, planning, investments, and insurance specialists to ensure seamless, integrated client service.
- • Act as an advocate for clients within Truist by coordinating cross-functional teams to address client needs and enhance service delivery.
- • Establish and nurture mutually beneficial relationships with external centers of influence such as attorneys, CPAs, and other professionals to drive business development.
- • Maintain strict compliance with all audit, regulatory, and legal requirements, including adherence to the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act and applicable NMLS background checks.
- • Keep current on economic trends, financial planning standards, investment strategies, insurance products, and regulatory changes impacting mass affluent clients.
- • Ensure all required securities and insurance licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66 or 63/65, Life, Health, Variable) are active and maintained, and transfer FINRA licenses within 60 days of employment.
- • Participate in the ongoing development and implementation of the Premier Banking program, including contributing to process improvements, product enhancements, and operational policies.
- • Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- • Operate within a 1st shift schedule in Norfolk, VA, with full-time regular employment status.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience and related training
- • Minimum of five years of financial services experience working with clients in banking, investments, and/or retail lending, or one year as a financial client relationship manager
- • Active and maintained Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 7, Series 66 (or 63 and 65), and applicable insurance licenses (Life, Health, Variable), obtainable within 100–150 days of hire
- • SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliance with registration completed within 30 days of employment
- • Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and ability to use bank contact management systems
🏖️ Benefits
- • Annual base salary range of $84,000–$110,000 depending on role level (Premier Advisor or Premier Advisor II)
- • Additional incentive pay available based on performance
