- • The Monad Foundation is actively seeking a talented and driven Visual Designer to join our mission of significantly expanding the impact of decentralized technology. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in elevating and systematizing the Monad brand across our Layer 1 blockchain ecosystem. Your primary focus will be on crafting high-quality visuals and developing reusable design systems that ensure brand cohesion while empowering various teams to accelerate their development and delivery cycles. This role offers a unique opportunity to translate complex, technical concepts into clear, memorable, and impactful graphics, demonstrating strong craft, thoughtful restraint, and unwavering consistency.
- • You will collaborate closely with our dedicated Design, Content, and Ecosystem teams. This partnership is crucial for ensuring that all visual outputs align seamlessly with Monad's overarching creative direction and established design standards. We are looking for a designer who possesses a unique blend of creative problem-solving skills and a structured, systems-level approach to design. The ideal candidate can fluidly transition between individual creative execution and the development of scalable design systems that benefit the entire organization.
- • Your responsibilities will encompass building, evolving, and meticulously maintaining our brand systems. This includes creating and managing templates, comprehensive guidelines, reusable components, and iconography that will be adopted and utilized across all products and internal teams. You will be adept at translating initial design concepts, often provided as Figma handoffs, into production-ready assets. This involves ensuring clean typography, precise layout, and impeccable file hygiene for efficient workflows.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves designing with motion in mind. You will create layered styleframes and design files that anticipate animation, facilitating seamless handoffs to animators and ensuring a dynamic and engaging user experience. Consistency across various touchpoints and screen sizes will be paramount as you ship multi-format campaigns, including web assets, social media graphics, email templates, and event collateral.
- • You will play a vital role in defining and maintaining sub-brand frameworks for our diverse ecosystem initiatives. This includes developing comprehensive partner enablement kits, which will provide essential tooling, clear usage rules, and detailed asset specifications to effectively scale brand quality throughout the ecosystem. Close collaboration with the Design, Ecosystem, and Media teams will be essential for shaping narrative, establishing visual hierarchy, and ensuring system-level consistency.
- • To optimize efficiency and reduce rework, you will establish clear and streamlined pipelines for design projects. This includes defining processes for briefs, setting milestones, creating review and handoff checklists, and standardizing export procedures. You will proactively identify areas of brand UI debt, propose practical solutions, and lead refactoring efforts with minimal supervision.
- • Ensuring accessibility by default is a core requirement. This means adhering to best practices for color contrast, legibility, and providing reduced motion fallbacks. Your work will be expected to pass accessibility audits for all public-facing surfaces. Furthermore, you will track the adoption and performance of design assets, iterating based on user feedback and measurable outcomes to continuously improve our visual communication.
- • This role demands a designer who not only possesses exceptional creative talent but also a strong operational mindset. You should be comfortable managing multiple projects, coordinating with various stakeholders, communicating your design rationale clearly and concisely, and demonstrating a deep understanding of how design impacts user experience and business objectives. 🎯 Requirements
- • 3-5 years of experience in brand graphic design, with a robust portfolio showcasing campaigns, event collateral, merchandise, web UI, and evidence of systems thinking.
- • Mastery of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), with a strong understanding of exports, color management, and production specifications.
- • Exceptional typographic craft, composition skills, and a disciplined approach to hierarchy and consistent spacing grids.
- • Demonstrated motion literacy, including an understanding of performance-friendly techniques and design restraint.
- • Strong operational rigor, including excellent time management, stakeholder coordination, crisp communication, and the ability to articulate thoughtful design rationale.
