• • Gramian Consultancy is seeking talented and experienced Voice Actors with a minimum of two years of professional recording experience to contribute to a groundbreaking AI research initiative. This project is at the forefront of voice likeness and digital avatar technology, aiming to revolutionize how artificial intelligence understands and replicates human speech.
• • As a Voice Actor on this project, you will play a crucial role in generating high-quality voice recordings that will be used to train and refine sophisticated AI models. Your authentic vocal performances will be the foundation for creating digital avatars and enhancing speech synthesis accuracy, ensuring that AI-generated voices sound natural, expressive, and true to life.
• • A key aspect of this role involves evaluating AI-generated replicas of your own voice. This critical feedback loop allows us to meticulously improve speech synthesis accuracy and, most importantly, accent authenticity. You will be instrumental in identifying subtle nuances and deviations, guiding the AI towards a more perfect imitation.
• • We are particularly interested in candidates who possess one or more of the following mixed US + international heritage accents, bringing a unique depth and authenticity to the recordings:

• • Filipino-American
• • Indian-American
• • Chinese-American
• • Your primary responsibility will be to record scripted material. This will be done in a professional home studio or a dedicated recording environment, ensuring the highest standards of audio quality.
• • You will be required to deliver broadcast-quality WAV files. These files must be in mono format, with a sample rate of 48kHz, adhering strictly to the technical specifications provided.
• • Meticulous attention to detail is essential. You will need to follow precise technical specifications and adhere to established naming conventions for all delivered files, ensuring seamless integration into the AI training pipeline.
• • A significant part of your contribution will involve evaluating AI-generated voice replicas. This will be conducted through structured A/B comparisons, where you will listen to and compare different AI outputs.
• • Following these evaluations, you will provide clear, consistent, and constructive qualitative feedback. Your insights will directly inform the development and refinement of the AI's ability to mimic human speech patterns and accents accurately.
• • This is a fully remote position, open to Voice Actors located anywhere within the USA, offering unparalleled flexibility.
• • The engagement is structured as a flexible contracting agreement. This is not a full-time or part-time employment position, allowing for a project-based collaboration.
• • Compensation is based on a fixed fee of USD 300 per finished hour. It is important to note that a 'finished hour' refers to the time spent after editing, mastering, and cleanup, as per the provided scripts and directions. On average, this process requires 4-5 hours of work per finished hour of audio, reflecting the comprehensive nature of the deliverables.
• • The evaluation process is designed to be efficient. It begins with a thorough shortlisting based on your qualifications and relevant professional experience.
• • Shortlisted candidates will then undergo a delivery review, where a sample of your work will be assessed. Upon successful completion of this review, you will be ready to commence work on this exciting AI research initiative.
