As a Voice Coach for our Dutch language projects, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of voice data used to train sophisticated artificial intelligence models. Your guidance will be instrumental in developing AI that understands and responds to the richness and diversity of human speech.
- • In this remote, freelance contractor role, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding voice talents during recording sessions. Your primary objective is to ensure that every recording meets Lilt's stringent quality standards. This involves acting as a "second pair of ears" for the voice talent, providing real-time feedback and direction to maintain consistency in quality, rhythm, tempo, pitch, amplitude, diction, and articulation. You will be the guardian of vocal excellence, ensuring that the nuances of the Dutch language are captured accurately and naturally.
- • Your responsibilities will extend to actively participating in the recording process, offering constructive criticism and expert advice to the voice talents. This might include guiding them on pronunciation, intonation, emotional delivery, and adherence to specific script requirements. You will need to identify and address any inconsistencies or deviations from the desired vocal performance, ensuring that the recordings are not only technically sound but also contextually appropriate and natural-sounding. The ability to articulate your feedback clearly and effectively is paramount, enabling the voice talents to make immediate improvements.

🎯 Requirements
- • Native or near-native fluency in Dutch (Netherlands dialect).
- • Professional experience as a Voice Coach, Speech Therapist, or Language Expert with a strong focus on vocal performance and linguistics.
- • Excellent command of English (near-native level) for communication with the Lilt team and for reviewing application materials.
- • Proven ability to coach on vocal quality, consistency, rhythm, tempo, pitch, amplitude, diction, and articulation.
- • Availability to attend recording sessions consistently during scheduled hours.
