  • • Serve as a Gartner Analyst and thought leader specializing in AI strategy for supply chain leaders, advising Chief Supply Chain Officers (CSCOs) on functional and technology strategy.
  • • Identify, analyze, and predict trends and innovations impacting supply chain functions and technology, with a focus on AI-driven transformation.
  • • Author high-quality research reports, white papers, and thought leadership content that delivers actionable insights to clients.
  • • Develop frameworks, methodologies, and best practices to help organizations successfully implement AI and other emerging technologies within supply chain operations.
  • • Present insights and recommendations to clients through in-person presentations, webinars, and client meetings, with a focus on C-suite and senior executive audiences.
  • • Build and maintain credibility as an industry expert by representing Gartner research at industry conferences, professional association events, and client briefings.
  • • Evaluate and stay current on the AI vendor landscape, including partnerships with technology companies providing AI solutions for supply chain applications.
  • • Provide sales support to drive client engagement and prospect acquisition by articulating the value of Gartner’s research and insights.
  • • Collaborate effectively with peers across the Gartner research community to contribute to innovation, ideation, and cross-functional research discussions.
  • • Conduct independent research to synthesize complex data, apply analytical frameworks, and draw defensible conclusions to address client challenges.
  • • Communicate complex AI and supply chain concepts clearly and concisely in writing and verbally, ensuring accessibility for executive stakeholders.
  • • Maintain a high level of executive presence, establishing immediate credibility and trust with clients during interactions and presentations.
  • • Respond effectively to spontaneous questions during client engagements and public speaking engagements.
  • • Manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while consistently delivering high-quality deliverables.
  • • Travel up to 15% to meet with clients, attend industry events, and participate in Gartner-led activities.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 15+ years of relevant field or industry experience in supply chain leadership roles
  • • Expertise in supply chain functions (plan, source, make, deliver) within the manufacturing industry
  • • Demonstrable understanding of artificial intelligence and its application in transforming supply chain operations
  • • Proven executive presence with the ability to establish immediate credibility with C-suite executives
  • • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex concepts for executive audiences
  • • Ability to conduct independent research, analyze data, and synthesize insights into actionable recommendations
