- • VP, Head, US Priority Transformation - Remote: This mission-critical role leads the design, build, and scale of enterprise-wide transformation programs for Novartis’ US Commercial business, ensuring strategy is translated into measurable business outcomes through workflow redesign, operational implementation, and value realization.
- • Day to day: Own end-to-end delivery of USLT-prioritized transformation initiatives (including AI-enabled and Reimagining Work programs), drive cross-functional orchestration across business, technology, data, and enabling functions, establish and lead a centralized PMO with governance frameworks, lead operating model and workflow transformation, partner on change management and adoption, and maintain integrated portfolio oversight to resolve dependencies and ensure effective sequencing.
- • About the team or company: Reporting to the Chief Strategy, Platforms & Transformation Officer, this role operates within Novartis AG’s US Commercial enterprise, supporting a large, matrixed, regulated environment where transformation is central to strategic execution and innovation.
- • What the person can learn or achieve in this role: Build and lead a high-performing transformation organization from the ground up, drive execution excellence and accountability, partner with Strategy & Execution, AI & Platform, Data, and P&O to deliver scalable transformation aligned with Responsible AI standards, and shape the transformation roadmap while ensuring sustained adoption and measurable business impact across the US enterprise.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, healthcare, digital, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) preferred
- • 12+ years of experience leading complex, enterprise-wide transformation, operating-model redesign, business process transformation, or transformation-office leadership in a large, matrixed, regulated environment
- • Demonstrated track record of translating strategy into implemented enterprise change with measurable business outcomes
- • Strong consulting-style problem solving combined with real in-business operating experience
- • High fluency in AI, digital, automation, and technology-enabled workflow redesign as it relates to business process and organizational transformation
- • Proven success leading transformation offices/PMOs with strong governance cadence, benefits tracking, and cross-functional delivery
