📋 Description
- • Lead and scale global accounting operations as Hims & Hers expands internationally, owning end-to-end international accounting function including close, reporting, statutory compliance, and internal controls.
- • Lead all aspects of international accounting operations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple foreign entities and jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, local statutory requirements, and international regulatory frameworks.
- • Partner with Tax, Legal, and Business Development to support global expansion, entity structuring, and cross-border transactions while leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing international accounting team.
- • Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, accuracy, and speed of reporting, and support M&A activity including due diligence and post-acquisition integration for international targets.
🎯 Requirements
- • 15+ years of experience in the accounting profession required, with a minimum of 5 years in public accounting required
- • CPA or international equivalent required
- • Public company experience required
- • SOX experience required
- • BA or BS degree from top ranking university in accounting, business administration or economics required
- • Ability to think through complex problems, determine proper processes, and derive accounting conclusions and present results to the team
