📋 Description

• Take end-to-end ownership of scaling Kognity’s AI-driven content generation engine to produce scalable, standards-aligned educational content across multiple modalities including text, assessments, images, videos, and interactives for both internal product use and external partners.
• Define and execute a roadmap to generate a complete, high-quality textbook in under one week using AI, pushing the boundaries of current capabilities in AI-powered educational content creation.
• Build, evolve, and lead the Content Engine organisation, including its structural design, cultural norms, and operational workflows to ensure alignment with Kognity’s global mission and high-performance standards.
• Continuously hire, develop, and mentor a high-performing, global team of technical and content specialists, ensuring alignment with Kognity’s leadership principles and fostering a culture of accountability, initiative, and rapid iteration.
• Position Kognity as the industry leader in the AI application layer for learning content by engaging directly with leading global educational publishers to redefine how content is created, licensed, and distributed.
• Drive innovation in AI content generation by experimenting with emerging tools and technologies to enhance creativity, decision-making, and operational efficiency in content production.
• Ensure all AI-generated content meets rigorous quality assurance standards while remaining pedagogically sound, curriculum-aligned, and culturally appropriate for students and teachers across 120+ countries.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, pedagogy, and data teams to integrate AI content generation seamlessly into Kognity’s intelligent learning platform.
• Translate Kognity’s vision of transforming global education into tangible, scalable AI systems that replace traditional textbooks and empower educators and learners worldwide.
• Maintain a high-pressure, high-ownership environment where decisions are made swiftly, feedback is direct, and outcomes are measured by global impact and product excellence.
• Communicate strategic progress and technical capabilities to senior leadership and external stakeholders with clarity and authority, balancing technical depth with business impact.
• Champion continuous learning and professional growth across the Content Engine team, encouraging experimentation, mastery, and the raising of individual and collective performance standards.
• Own the long-term technological roadmap for AI content generation, identifying bottlenecks, opportunities for automation, and areas for competitive differentiation in the EdTech market.
• Ensure ethical and responsible use of AI in educational content, safeguarding against bias, misinformation, and inappropriate outputs while maintaining pedagogical integrity.
• Represent Kognity at industry events, partnerships, and collaborations to establish the company as a thought leader in AI for education.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI content outputs through data-driven feedback loops to inform iterative improvements in quality, speed, and alignment with curriculum standards.
• Balance ambitious innovation with operational discipline, ensuring that rapid experimentation does not compromise the reliability or consistency of content delivered to schools and students globally.
