- • Define and evolve Vanta’s brand strategy across every touchpoint, ensuring consistency, distinction, and differentiation in Creative, Content & Social, and Communications as one integrated system.
- • Lead the creation and scaling of a world-class creative organization spanning brand design, advertising, web, video, motion, and production, setting the highest visual and experiential standards for the company.
- • Own Vanta’s voice, editorial strategy, and presence across all owned channels, building programming that drives attention and sharing through short-form video, data-driven storytelling, and culturally relevant content.
- • Establish and lead Vanta’s external narrative across media, analysts, and industry voices, driving share of voice and building a durable executive thought leadership platform.
- • Design and execute unexpected in-person brand experiences at events, conferences, and Vanta’s flagship gatherings, including major industry events like RSA.
- • Build a measurable brand engine that directly links brand investment to pipeline and revenue through clear leading indicators, ensuring brand impact is tied to business outcomes.
- • Experiment with bold creative ideas across emerging formats and channels, turning successful experiments into repeatable systems and playbooks.
- • Partner closely with the CMO, CEO, and cross-functional leaders in Growth, Product Marketing, and Product to ensure brand initiatives directly drive business growth.
- • Maintain and elevate second-line leadership across Creative, Content & Social, and Communications teams, fostering high-performing, accountable teams.
- • Embrace cutting-edge AI tools to enhance creative output, improve efficiency, and gain a competitive edge in brand execution.
- • Translate complex topics like security, compliance, and trust into human, urgent, and compelling stories that resonate across enterprise and startup audiences.
- • Demonstrate a clear point of view on social media trends and cultural relevance, ensuring Vanta remains hard to ignore in a noisy marketplace.
- • Manage internal teams, external agencies, and third-party partners with excellence, ensuring alignment to brand vision and execution standards.
- • Protect Vanta and customer data in all team operations and deliverables, maintaining strict compliance and data security protocols.
- • Foster an inclusive, diverse, and equitable creative environment that reflects Vanta’s commitment to hiring talent of all backgrounds.
- • Maintain deep curiosity about security, compliance, and the future of trust, and drive efforts to make these topics feel modern, accessible, and culturally resonant.
- • Balance visionary thinking with operational discipline, setting bold direction while building the systems, processes, and team structures needed to execute at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • 15+ years of brand and creative leadership experience, ideally in high-growth B2B SaaS or technical consumer companies
- • Proven leadership of connected functions including Creative, Content & Social, and Communications, with ability to align them under a single strategy
- • Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing teams with strong second-line leadership
- • Portfolio showcasing creative excellence directly tied to measurable business outcomes
- • Experience evolving enterprise brands while preserving humanity, sharpness, and cultural relevance
- • Strong narrative and storytelling skills, capable of turning complex topics into clear, urgent, and human stories
