- • As LI.FI GmbH scales its engineering organization, we are seeking a visionary and results-oriented VP of Engineering to spearhead execution across all engineering teams and establish the robust leadership structure essential for the company’s next phase of significant growth.
- • This pivotal role involves leading the entire engineering department, ensuring seamless collaboration with the CTO, product teams, and the broader leadership ensemble. The primary focus will be on driving strong delivery, maintaining technical alignment, and fostering scalable execution across the organization.
- • A core tenet of this position is enhancing organizational effectiveness, ensuring that engineering teams operate with high reliability and predictable velocity. You will be instrumental in building and refining the systems and culture necessary to support sustained long-term growth and innovation.

- • OWN ENGINEERING EXECUTION:
- • Guarantee that all engineering teams consistently deliver high-quality results with predictable velocity, meeting and exceeding project timelines and objectives.
- • Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve complex cross-team dependencies, potential risks, and operational bottlenecks that could impede progress or compromise quality.
- • Establish and reinforce clear lines of ownership and accountability across all engineering functions, ensuring every team member understands their role and responsibilities.
- • Continuously refine and optimize engineering processes, delivery methodologies, and overall operational effectiveness to drive efficiency and improve outcomes.
- • Forge a strong partnership with Product leadership to ensure engineering execution is tightly aligned with product priorities, strategic roadmaps, and market demands.
- • Empower teams to rapidly ship Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and iterate swiftly, thereby significantly reducing the time from initial concept to production deployment.
- • SCALE THE ENGINEERING ORGANISATION:
- • Architect and evolve the engineering organization's structure and processes to effectively accommodate and support the company's ongoing growth and expansion.
- • Lead comprehensive workforce planning initiatives and strategic resource allocation across all engineering teams to maximize efficiency and impact.
- • Enhance internal communication flows, optimize team structures, and streamline decision-making processes to foster agility and responsiveness.
- • Proactively identify emerging structural challenges within the engineering department and implement timely, effective solutions.
- • Ensure the engineering organization possesses the capacity and agility to support new product initiatives and overall company growth without compromising execution speed or quality.
- • LEAD ENGINEERING MANAGERS AND SENIOR TECHNICAL LEADERS:
- • Directly manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineering managers and senior technical leaders, fostering their professional growth and leadership capabilities.
- • Set and uphold exceptionally high standards for recruitment, performance management, and career development within the engineering department.
