- • Build Vanta’s Professional Services function from the ground up, defining delivery methodology, service offerings, pricing models, and team structure to accelerate customer time-to-value across all segments.
- • Design scalable, differentiated service packages tailored to enterprise customers (high-touch) and mid-market customers (scalable delivery), ensuring alignment with Vanta’s product roadmap and customer compliance journeys.
- • Establish a repeatable, measurable service motion covering onboarding, implementation, and enablement across the entire customer lifecycle to drive consistent outcomes and retention.
- • Launch innovative, product-aligned service offerings that enable customers to fully unlock the value of Vanta’s trust management platform at every stage of their security and compliance journey.
- • Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing Professional Services team, creating career frameworks, onboarding programs, and ongoing enablement to build a world-class services organization.
- • Serve as the executive escalation point for complex, strategic customer engagements, ensuring successful delivery and customer satisfaction at the highest levels.
- • Own end-to-end Professional Services P&L, including revenue targets, margin goals, services bookings, SOW negotiation, change orders, and renewal management across all customer segments.
- • Implement tools, dashboards, and QA processes to track, analyze, and continuously improve core Professional Services metrics such as onboarding time, customer satisfaction, and implementation success rates.
- • Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Solutions, and Channel & Alliances teams to ensure seamless presales-to-post-sales handoffs and unified customer outcomes across direct and partner-led motions.
- • Build and lead a strategic partner services program that bridges Vanta’s Professional Services function with resellers, service partners, distributors, and auditors.
- • Develop partner-aligned service offerings and enablement resources to help ecosystem partners grow their own practices, deepen Vanta expertise, and deliver consistent, high-quality customer outcomes at scale.
- • Design structured handoff processes that transition customers from Vanta-led engagements to partner-led engagements based on partner capabilities and customer needs.
- • Ensure all professional services operations comply with data protection standards, safeguarding both Vanta and customer data in delivery processes.
- • Actively leverage AI tools to enhance team productivity, delivery quality, and operational efficiency, demonstrating curiosity, responsible experimentation, and sound judgment in AI adoption.
- • Translate compliance and security frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA) into actionable, customer-facing delivery strategies that align with business outcomes.
- • Maintain familiarity with key platforms in the compliance and security ecosystem—including AWS, Okta, Azure/EntraID, GCP, and Jira—to guide service design and customer implementation.
- • Champion a culture of operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement across the Professional Services organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years in SaaS Professional Services or consulting, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role at a high-growth software and/or AI company
- • Proven experience hiring, structuring, and developing Professional Services organizations from scratch
- • Track record of owning and growing services revenue, including scoping, pricing, and managing SOWs, change orders, and renewals
- • AI-forward mindset with hands-on experience using or building AI-enabled workflows in customer-facing or services contexts
- • Strong operational skills in building processes, implementing tools, and leveraging data to drive decisions
- • Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA
