You will be an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence within our distribution center.
- • As a Warehouse Worker, your daily responsibilities will encompass a wide range of essential logistics tasks. You will meticulously follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to process orders, which includes accurately picking items, performing thorough quality control checks to ensure product integrity, and sorting freight. Your role will involve consolidating shipments, skillfully building and wrapping pallets to secure goods for transit, and efficiently packing orders. You will also be responsible for preparing orders for shipment, ensuring all documentation and labeling are correct. A significant part of your work will involve picking large case items, potentially utilizing material handling equipment, or picking smaller, individual units of measure and placing them on designated carts for further processing.
- • You will be expected to develop proficiency across multiple areas of the warehouse through cross-training, enabling you to adapt to varying operational needs and contribute to different projects as required. A key aspect of your role will involve utilizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to accurately check in and send out products, maintaining real-time inventory accuracy. Depending on your assigned duties, you may be required to operate various types of material handling equipment, such as order pickers (cherry pickers), forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders. Furthermore, you will be responsible for completing essential housekeeping and inventory control tasks, ensuring a consistently clean, organized, and safe work environment that adheres to all safety regulations.

This commitment to safety and compliance is paramount in our operations. You will be working on routine assignments that require problem-solving skills to address day-to-day operational challenges, contributing to the continuous improvement of our warehouse processes. Your ability to follow direction and adapt to changing priorities while working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team will be essential for success.
- • The Warehouse Operations team at Cardinal Health is the backbone of our product distribution network. We are responsible for the seamless handling of materials and the efficient distribution of products within our state-of-the-art distribution environment. Our scope includes comprehensive warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, managing transportation logistics, maintaining precise inventory control, and contributing to demand and supply planning. We are dedicated to ensuring the efficient flow of products from the moment they are received from vendors until they are shipped to our diverse range of internal and external customers, all while meeting stringent service parameters.
- • In this role, you will gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, critical industry. You will develop a deep understanding of warehouse management systems, material handling equipment operation, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management. The opportunity to cross-train in various warehouse functions provides a well-rounded skill set, enhancing your career prospects within Cardinal Health and the broader logistics field. You will learn to navigate complex operational challenges, improve your problem-solving abilities, and contribute to a safe and productive work environment, all while being part of a company committed to healthcare excellence.
