- • Manage a high-volume ticketed inbox of WordPress website requests including content updates, layout changes, landing pages, and minor feature additions for a portfolio of client sites.
- • Implement WordPress changes involving theme and template adjustments, custom CSS/HTML edits, and basic-to-intermediate PHP and JavaScript modifications.
- • Perform thorough quality control on every delivered change by testing across devices and browsers, verifying links, forms, menus, and interactive elements.
- • Draft clear, professional client-facing summaries of completed work for internal review prior to delivery to ensure accuracy and alignment with client expectations.
- • Collaborate with internal developers and account managers to clarify ambiguous requirements, resolve edge cases, and align on technical implementation.
- • Proactively identify and flag technical risks, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve or standardize templates, workflows, and site structures across the portfolio.
- • Maintain clean, secure, and well-organized code and site architecture to ensure long-term scalability and reduce technical debt.
- • Work within a ticket-based workflow system with strict adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
- • Ensure all modifications are performed without disrupting live client websites, using staging environments and rigorous testing protocols.
- • Communicate effectively in written and spoken English to provide updates, document changes, and coordinate with US-based teams across time zones.
- • Utilize remote collaboration tools including Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, and Asana to maintain seamless communication and task tracking.
- • Adhere to established development standards and documentation practices to support team-wide consistency and knowledge sharing.
- • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to existing templates, plugins, or processes based on observed patterns and client feedback.
- • Maintain awareness of WordPress security best practices and apply updates, patches, and hardening measures to client sites as needed.
- • Balance multiple client priorities simultaneously while maintaining precision and attention to detail across all assigned tasks.
- • Deliver work that meets or exceeds client expectations without requiring rework, demonstrating a consistent habit of self-QA before handoff.
- • Work exclusively within US time zones (EST–CST overlap required) to ensure real-time collaboration with internal teams and clients.
- • Record a video as part of the application process; failure to do so will result in automatic disqualification.
🎯 Requirements
- • Professional WordPress development experience with strong knowledge of themes, child themes, plugins, and custom post types
- • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and basic-to-intermediate PHP and JavaScript
- • Demonstrated experience managing multiple client sites or a portfolio of WordPress properties
- • Prior remote work experience with fluency in remote collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar)
- • Clear, professional written and spoken English
- • Must have worked with US or UK-based companies previously
