Full Job Description

📋 Description

  • As a Workday Analyst II specializing in Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking (PATT), you will be instrumental in shaping and optimizing Daikin Applied's core HR systems. This role demands a proactive approach to designing, developing, and implementing complex Workday PATT solutions, with a particular emphasis on the Absence module.
  • You will take ownership of the PATT workstream, demonstrating exceptional client and stakeholder management skills to ensure project objectives are met and tasks are completed efficiently. Your ability to lead and support these critical processes will be key to our success.
  • A significant part of your responsibility will involve the meticulous research and resolution of day-to-day Workday PATT process and configuration issues. You will be tasked with designing solutions that not only address immediate problems but also ensure the cohesiveness of all workstreams, proactively considering and mitigating cross-functional impacts.
  • You will act as a crucial liaison between HR and business stakeholders, actively supporting new requirements for PATT within Workday. This includes translating business needs into actionable configurations and enhancements, ensuring the system accurately reflects evolving organizational demands.
  • A core function of this role is the management and coordination of implementing new Union and MOR (Memorandum of Record) specifications within the PATT workspaces in Workday. This requires a deep understanding of how these elements integrate into payroll and time tracking processes.
  • You will provide essential post-payroll support, including managing general ledger postings, facilitating bank transfers, and ensuring the accurate generation of paychecks within Workday.
  • The creation, management, and support of required PATT reporting are vital. This includes providing critical support for year-end reporting activities and other related year-end processes within Workday, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • You will be expected to identify strategic approaches, potential risks, and available options, recommending the most effective approaches and mitigations to meet both client and functional requirements. This includes performing ongoing audits to guarantee data integrity and the accuracy of system configurations.
  • This role encourages innovation. You will contribute to the creation of new, industry-leading methods for utilizing Workday PATT functionalities, pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
  • Rigorous testing is paramount. You will be responsible for thoroughly testing configurations through unit testing and facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions are robust and meet user needs.
  • You will play a key role in knowledge transfer and change management, effectively communicating system modifications and ensuring smooth adoption by end-users.
  • Managing Workday release enhancements is a critical aspect of the role, ensuring that technical and functional requirements are thoroughly tested and adopted in a timely manner to leverage new features and improvements.
  • You will also be responsible for other assigned duties that contribute to the overall success of the HR technology function at Daikin Applied.
