  • • RSM US LLP is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Workday Reporting Analyst to join their National Finance team. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the organization's financial reporting capabilities by designing, building, testing, and deploying robust Workday reports and dashboards.
  • • As a Workday Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in translating business needs into technical specifications for Workday reports. Your primary responsibilities will involve the end-to-end lifecycle of report development, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • • You will be instrumental in gathering requirements from stakeholders, including Workday Functional Leads and business subject matter experts (SMEs), to understand their reporting needs and challenges.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves the technical creation and modification of reports using Workday's Report Writer functionality. This includes developing advanced reports tailored for internal Finance users, as well as creating reports from other database systems as required.
  • • You will be responsible for analyzing and debugging Workday Finance reports and dashboards, ensuring they function correctly and meet performance expectations.
  • • Regular review and optimization of existing reports and calculated fields will be a core duty, aimed at enhancing performance and user experience.
  • • Comprehensive documentation of report functionality and design will be essential for ongoing maintenance, knowledge transfer, and support.
  • • You will provide critical troubleshooting and support for any report execution failures, ensuring timely resolution of issues that impact business operations.
  • • The role requires proactive research into new Workday reporting and analytics features and functionalities to identify opportunities for improvement and better meet user needs.
  • • A significant part of your contribution will involve supporting Workday’s biannual releases. This includes conducting impact analyses on changes to Workday’s data model and creating reports and dashboards to assist in identifying populations for release testing.
  • • Beyond technical report development, you will actively participate in report reviews, ensuring adherence to security and data privacy standards, and partnering with the Workday Security team to maintain these critical protocols.
  • • You will serve as a subject matter expert for reporting and calculated fields within the Workday ecosystem, collaborating closely with other members of the Workday functional team.
  • • Providing essential Finance data support to Finance staff, all associate end-users, and members of senior leadership is a key function of this position.
  • • Maintaining a high level of proficiency and knowledge with all talent systems is expected, ensuring you are up-to-date with system capabilities and best practices.
  • • You will assist with the support of all aspects of Finance as it relates to data requests, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial data structures and reporting needs.
  • • The role involves participating in the delivery of reporting training sessions and educating users on Workday reporting functions and the available reports, empowering them to leverage the system effectively.
  • • Adherence to established standards and change management processes, including thorough report documentation, is paramount to ensure consistency and control.
