- • As a Workers Compensation Claims Representative at Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc., you will play a vital role in supporting injured workers and clients by managing claims with empathy, accuracy, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions. This position is essential to ensuring timely, fair, and lawful resolution of workers’ compensation cases, directly impacting the well-being of individuals navigating unexpected workplace injuries.
- • Day to day, you will independently manage a capped caseload of workers’ compensation claims from inception to resolution, ensuring adherence to company procedures, industry best practices, and state-specific regulations. You will negotiate settlements within your authority, communicate clearly with claimants and clients, file reports timely, maintain accurate records in the claims management system, and respond to excess carrier requests with professionalism and precision.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 1 year of workers’ compensation claims handling experience
- • Experience with Medical Only and Minor Lost-Time claims
- • Licensed in home state with strong understanding of workers’ compensation processes, policies, and legal requirements
- • Proficiency with claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously
