- • As the Workforce Relations Manager at Solventum, you will be instrumental in shaping and leading the centralized US employee relations function, providing critical support to all US non-production and non-plant leaders. This pivotal role demands ownership of the strategy, governance, and execution of workforce relations across diverse businesses and functions, ensuring that all people practices are not only fair and consistent but also fully compliant with Solventum’s core values. Your expertise will empower leaders to excel in their roles while simultaneously mitigating risks, fostering a robust organizational culture, and enhancing overall organizational health.
- • You will serve as the senior advisor and primary escalation point for an array of complex, sensitive, and high-risk workforce matters. This includes providing expert guidance and strategic direction on critical areas such as employee and labor relations, conflict and behavior management, policy and compliance-related management issues, navigating crisis situations and sensitive employee circumstances, and robust performance management strategies.
- • A key responsibility will be to lead, develop, and coach a dedicated team of specialized Workforce Relations advisors. This involves nurturing their professional growth, ensuring high performance, and fostering a collaborative and effective team environment. You will be responsible for building organizational capability by enhancing leadership effectiveness through insightful guidance, targeted coaching, and proactive knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- • You will play a crucial role in cultivating a culture of fairness, consistency, and accountability. This commitment extends not only to the Workforce Relations team itself but also permeates throughout the broader HR organization, ensuring a unified and principled approach to people management.
- • The role requires you to define, implement, and meticulously monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs), key performance metrics, and overall performance for all Workforce Relations services. This data-driven approach is essential for identifying systemic issues, recognizing emerging trends, and pinpointing organizational risks.
- • You will be expected to translate these data-driven insights into actionable, strategic recommendations for both HR and business leaders, facilitating informed decision-making and proactive problem-solving.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves driving simplification, automation, and continuous improvement across all Workforce Relations processes. This will be achieved through close collaboration with other HR functions, leveraging technology and innovative approaches to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- • You will be a key player in ensuring that Solventum's commitment to enabling better, smarter, safer healthcare is reflected in its internal people practices, supporting a mission-driven organization that pioneers game-changing innovations.
- • By partnering closely with healthcare professionals and brightest minds, you will contribute to solutions that meld the latest technology with compassion and empathy, embodying the company's ethos of 'never stop solving for you'.
- • This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a new company with a long legacy, impacting patient lives and enabling healthcare professionals to perform at their best, all while working remotely within the United States.
