📋 Description
- • Working Student (20-40%) – Autonomy Kits Configuration at Gravis Robotics AG, a startup transforming heavy construction machines into intelligent, autonomous robots using learning-based automation and augmented remote control.
- • The role involves hands-on preparation and commissioning of Rooftop Autonomous Control Kits (RACK), which integrate sensing, compute, communication, and networking for deployment across various construction machines.
- • You will work 1 to 2 days per week in the Zurich office near Bahnhof Oerlikon, collaborating closely with engineering and operations teams to support real-world robotics deployments.
- • This position offers direct exposure to a production robotics stack, enabling meaningful contributions from day one and valuable experience in autonomous systems for heavy machinery.
🎯 Requirements
- • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in a relevant technical field such as robotics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
- • Hands-on experience with hardware assembly, configuration, or troubleshooting, preferably in robotics, embedded systems, or electromechanical devices.
- • Familiarity with basic electrical systems, sensors, or communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, USB) is advantageous.
- • Ability to work independently and precisely in a lab or workshop environment, following technical documentation and safety procedures.
- • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward learning and contributing to technical tasks.
- • Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus but not required.
