- • As a Working Student in Researched Data Finance & Health at Statista GmbH, you will play a vital role in supporting the creation and publication of high-quality statistical content that empowers global decision-makers with reliable, fact-based insights in the finance and health sectors.
- • Your contributions will directly support Statista’s mission as the world’s leading business data platform by ensuring accurate, timely, and accessible data is available to professionals, researchers, and institutions worldwide.
- • Assisting data researchers in creating statistical content focused on financial services, financial institutions, financial instruments & investments, and insurance industries, including data collection, validation, and preparation for publication.
- • Processing and publishing data in both English and German for the Statista website and database, adhering strictly to the company’s editorial style guidelines to ensure consistency, clarity, and professionalism across all outputs.
- • Managing content lifecycle using Statista’s proprietary content management system (CMS), including uploading, tagging, categorizing, and maintaining data integrity throughout the publishing workflow.
- • Developing a deeper understanding of quantitative research methodologies and data interpretation while exploring and utilizing AI tools to streamline repetitive tasks, improve efficiency, and enhance data processing accuracy.
- • Collaborating closely with a diverse, international team of data analysts, researchers, and editors in a hybrid work environment that values independence, structure, and proactive communication.
- • Gaining hands-on experience in data curation, editorial workflows, and industry-specific knowledge in finance and health, building a strong foundation for a future career in data analysis, research, or business intelligence.
- • Contributing to meaningful projects that influence real-world decisions while developing professional skills in attention to detail, cross-cultural communication, and technical proficiency with data systems.
🎯 Requirements
- • Currently enrolled as a full-time bachelor’s or master’s student at a recognized university in Germany, with proof of ongoing enrollment required.
- • Availability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, up to a maximum of 20 hours, with flexibility to accommodate academic schedules.
- • Exceptional proficiency in English (written and spoken) and fluency in German, with the ability to produce and edit content accurately in both languages.
- • Academic background in economics, finance, international relations, or a closely related field is strongly preferred.
- • Demonstrated ability to comprehend complex datasets and translate them into clear, concise, and accurate narratives with meticulous attention to detail and quality.
- • Reliable, independent, and structured approach to work, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently without supervision.
