- • As a Senior People Operations Specialist at Drata, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless and compliant execution of critical HR processes across our rapidly growing global workforce. This role is pivotal in maintaining operational excellence throughout the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, and plays a key part in supporting Drata's mission to help companies earn and keep the trust of their users.
- • You will own and meticulously manage the offboarding process, ensuring strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining business continuity. This includes the administration of severance processes, encompassing the preparation and management of release agreements and severance guidelines, ensuring all legal and company requirements are met with precision.
- • Your responsibilities will extend to managing job changes within Workday, ensuring all updates are performed in alignment with documented SOPs to maintain data accuracy and integrity. Furthermore, you will oversee the administration of leaves of absence, guaranteeing accurate tracking, compliance with relevant regulations, and timely communication with employees and relevant stakeholders.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves serving as a Workday subject matter expert, providing essential system support to the People Team and the broader organization. You will be responsible for creating and managing new compensation elements within Workday, conducting weekly audits to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies. This includes processing one-time payments such as spot bonuses and retention bonuses, ensuring correct configuration, necessary approvals, and timely disbursement.
- • You will also play a crucial role in supporting critical system testing cycles, including open enrollment testing and Recognition & Rewards (R&R) testing, contributing to the overall reliability and functionality of our HR systems. Maintaining data integrity within Workday is paramount, and you will partner closely with teams to ensure accurate headcount tracking and reporting, providing the foundation for strategic decision-making.
- • In addition to system responsibilities, you will provide essential HR ticketing and inbox support, acting as a first point of contact for employee inquiries and ensuring timely and effective resolution of HR-related issues.
- • Your role will encompass administering employee benefits programs, providing comprehensive support to employees regarding their benefits inquiries, and managing HSA/FSA reporting to ensure compliance and accuracy. You will partner closely with the Payroll team to address timesheet corrections for hourly employees, proactively identifying and tracking repeat issues to implement systemic solutions.
- • Delivering robust reporting support is a key function, assisting with equity audits ahead of board meetings to ensure all necessary documentation and data are prepared for executive review. You will also support Pave administration and contribute to total rewards operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of these critical compensation and benefits initiatives.
- • A core part of your contribution will be in compliance, policy, and process management. You will regularly audit HR policies and documentation to ensure ongoing compliance with legal requirements and company standards. This includes creating, updating, and meticulously documenting SOPs and operational processes to standardize workflows and enhance efficiency across the People Ops function.
- • Maintaining and ensuring the accuracy of employee documentation is a critical responsibility, safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring compliance. You will proactively identify operational risks within HR processes and implement improvements to mitigate these risks, thereby enhancing the overall effectiveness and security of our People Operations.
- • You will foster strong cross-functional partnerships, working closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Total Rewards, Payroll, and Finance teams. You will take first-pass ownership of complex tickets, escalating and looping in stakeholders as needed to ensure swift and accurate resolution. Furthermore, you will provide training on Workday processes and operational workflows to team members and stakeholders, empowering them with the knowledge to utilize our systems effectively.
- • As business needs evolve, you will support strategic People initiatives, contributing your expertise to projects that drive organizational growth and enhance the employee experience. This role is designed for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, possesses a strong operational mindset, and is eager to make a significant impact on Drata's continued success.
