📋 Description

• Own the ElevenLabs blog by setting editorial standards, writing original content, and editing draft posts from cross-functional teams including growth, research, engineering, and product.
• Interview domain experts, analyze internal data sets, and monitor company updates to identify compelling stories and insights worth sharing.
• Translate complex technical and business updates into clear, accessible, and engaging long-form content for diverse audiences.
• Define and maintain ElevenLabs’ house style to ensure consistent voice, tone, and quality across all published materials.
• Write keynotes, speeches, and remarks for senior leadership that are memorable, impactful, and aligned with company messaging.
• Manage a network of freelance writers and editors to scale content production while maintaining editorial integrity and brand consistency.
• Shape content strategy to ensure writing resonates with target audiences and drives engagement across platforms.
• Collaborate closely with teams across the organization to uncover narratives that highlight ElevenLabs’ innovations in AI voice, chat agents, and creative tools.
• Use data and internal insights to inform editorial direction and ensure content reflects the latest advancements in AI audio technology.
• Ensure all published content meets the same high standard of quality as ElevenLabs’ AI models, reflecting the company’s commitment to excellence.
• Proactively identify opportunities to elevate the company’s thought leadership through long-form storytelling on emerging AI trends and applications.
• Adapt writing style and structure for different formats — from blog posts and whitepapers to keynote scripts and executive communications.
• Maintain a deep understanding of ElevenLabs’ three core platforms: ElevenAgents, ElevenCreative, and ElevenAPI to accurately represent their capabilities and impact.
• Contribute to the company’s AI-first culture by leveraging AI tools to enhance writing efficiency and output quality without compromising authenticity or depth.
• Foster a culture of editorial excellence by mentoring internal contributors and helping them refine their communication skills.
• Stay attuned to industry conversations around AI, audio technology, and content creation to position ElevenLabs as a leading voice in the space.
• Ensure all content aligns with the company’s mission to transform human-technology interaction through innovative AI.
• Balance speed and precision in a high-velocity environment where rapid experimentation and lean teams are the norm.
• Operate autonomously with minimal bureaucracy, taking ownership of editorial outcomes without relying on hierarchical approval chains.

🎯 Requirements

• Background in journalism, editorial, or long-form writing, ideally covering AI, tech, or audio
• Exceptional writing across different formats
• Strong editing skills and the ability to reshape others' work while preserving their intent
• Strong instincts for distribution and understanding of how to shape writing to reach and resonate with target audiences
• Track record of owning and improving editorial output, not just contributing to it
• Genuine curiosity about AI and interest in helping the world understand what ElevenLabs is building
