About Prisma Health

Prisma Health is the largest not-for-profit health system in South Carolina, formed in 2017 through the merger of Palmetto Health and Greenville Health System. It operates 18 hospitals, more than 300 outpatient sites, and employs over 30,000 people. The system provides comprehensive medical services including primary care, specialty care, emergency services, and academic medical training in partnership with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Prisma Health serves communities across the state with a focus on improving health outcomes and access to care.
