📋 Description

• • As an Applied AI Engineer at DoiT International, you will be a one-person product team embedded directly into a core business function, driving measurable process improvements through AI-driven automation. You will not be handling IT support tickets but instead identifying friction in workflows and building end-to-end automations using modern AI tooling to ship solutions fast.
• • Day to day, you will research business problems, design AI-powered solutions, write production-quality code using AI agents like Claude Code, Gemini CLI, and Codex, and deploy automations end-to-end. You will integrate LLMs via APIs, apply prompt engineering, RAG, MCP, and agentic architectures, and build internal tools using TypeScript/JavaScript, Next.js, Python, Firestore/Firebase, and Google Cloud Platform.
• • You will join DoiT’s global business systems team, a remote-first organization operating across the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden, Israel, and Eastern Europe. DoiT is a strategic partner of AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, specializing in Kubernetes, GenAI, CloudOps, and multicloud solutions that help customers drive efficiency and innovation.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in AI-native engineering, gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge agentic workflows and MCP, and build a portfolio of production-impactful automations. You will operate with extreme autonomy, translating business needs into technical solutions while sharpening your communication, empathy, and self-direction skills.
