- • As a Benefits Specialist II at Cision, you will play a pivotal role in the global administration and daily operations of our comprehensive employee benefits programs. This position is crucial for ensuring that our benefits offerings are managed effectively, remain compliant with all relevant regulations, and provide a high level of service and support to our diverse employee base across Bulgaria.
- • You will be instrumental in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of various employee benefits, including but not limited to health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. This involves overseeing enrollment periods, managing renewals, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of all programs.
- • A key responsibility will be the accurate processing and reconciliation of benefits invoices, guaranteeing that all payments are made accurately and on time, maintaining strong relationships with our vendors and brokers.
- • You will serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits. This requires providing clear, concise, and accurate information, helping employees navigate their options and understand their coverage effectively.
- • Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of benefits records within our HR systems is paramount. This involves meticulous data entry, regular audits, and ensuring that all information is up-to-date and compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
- • You will provide essential support during the annual benefits open enrollment period. This includes assisting with the development and execution of communication strategies, updating systems with new plan information, and offering direct assistance to employees as they make their selections.
- • Your role will involve offering guidance on Cision’s extensive benefits programs, proactively assisting employees in resolving any questions or issues they may encounter, ensuring a positive employee experience.
- • A significant aspect of this role includes managing employee leave. You will communicate with employees regarding their leave needs, ensuring they fully understand their responsibilities, eligibility criteria, and the necessary documentation required to qualify for and take approved leave.
- • Maintaining appropriate and timely communication with employees who are on leave is vital for supporting a smooth and efficient return to work. This may involve acting as a liaison between employees and their managers, facilitating necessary information exchange.
- • You will be responsible for maintaining complete and accurate records of all leave and accommodation requests, adhering strictly to legal requirements and best practices to ensure compliance and employee support.
- • Collaboration with the Payroll team will be essential for managing and reconciling leave payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial aspects related to employee leave.
- • Ensuring strict compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to employee benefits programs is a core function of this role. You will stay informed about legislative changes and their impact on our programs.
- • You will assist in the preparation and timely filing of all required regulatory reports and documentation, maintaining a high standard of accuracy and completeness.
- • Proactively staying abreast of evolving benefits legislation and industry best practices will allow you to recommend necessary adjustments and improvements to our existing programs, ensuring Cision remains competitive and compliant.
- • Analyzing benefits data to identify key trends, potential issues, and opportunities for program enhancement is crucial. This data-driven approach will inform strategic decision-making.
- • You will collaborate closely with the Benefits Leader to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and relevant metrics, providing insights into the effectiveness and efficiency of our benefits administration.
- • Liaising effectively with a range of benefits vendors and brokers is necessary to resolve any service issues, negotiate terms, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet employee needs.
- • You will also contribute to the evaluation and selection process for new benefits providers, ensuring that Cision partners with vendors that align with our strategic objectives and offer excellent value.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in employee benefits administration.
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- • Strong team player with a customer service mindset, excellent attention to detail, and strong follow-through capabilities.
- • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
