đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Principal Program Manager at PointClickCare, you will be at the forefront of driving significant enterprise transformation initiatives within our Strategic Delivery Office (SDO). This pivotal role reports directly to the Director, Portfolio Management, and serves as the primary client liaison, orchestrating the successful implementation of complex projects and program workstreams. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of healthcare technology by ensuring our multi-year transformation programs and individual projects are meticulously aligned with our overarching transformation strategy and portfolio-level objectives.
  • • Your responsibilities will encompass managing both standalone, high-impact projects and critical workstreams that are integral components of larger, more extensive transformation programs. This dual focus demands a sophisticated ability to navigate diverse project scopes and stakeholder landscapes, ensuring seamless integration and consistent progress across all initiatives.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves fostering and maintaining robust collaborative relationships with a wide array of internal and external partners. You will work closely with Program Directors to ensure cohesive program execution, engage deeply with Business Stakeholders to understand and translate their needs into actionable project plans, and partner with Organizational Change Management (OCM) professionals to facilitate smooth transitions and user adoption.
  • • Furthermore, you will collaborate effectively with Product Owners (POs) to define project scope, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with product vision, as well as with Enterprise Architecture teams to guarantee that all implemented solutions are scalable, secure, and adhere to our technology roadmap and standards. This cross-functional collaboration is essential for delivering comprehensive and effective solutions.
  • • You will be responsible for the end-to-end program and project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, control, and closure. This includes defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. You will develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budget management, and risk assessment, ensuring all elements are clearly defined and agreed upon.
  • • Leading and motivating cross-functional project teams will be a core function, empowering them to achieve project goals while fostering a culture of accountability and high performance. You will proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans to minimize potential disruptions and ensure project success. Regular and transparent communication with all stakeholders, including executive leadership, will be paramount, providing status updates, highlighting key achievements, and addressing any concerns or roadblocks.
  • • This role requires a strategic mindset to ensure that all managed projects and programs contribute directly to PointClickCare's strategic goals and the broader vision of a human-first, AI-accelerated healthcare future. You will champion the integration of AI tools and methodologies within project execution where applicable, enhancing creativity, productivity, and decision-making to drive meaningful and lasting change in healthcare delivery.
  • • You will be expected to manage multiple complex projects or program workstreams concurrently, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating the complexities of the healthcare technology landscape, ensuring that our solutions not only meet but exceed the needs of our clients and contribute to our mission of helping providers deliver exceptional care.
  • • As a Principal Program Manager, you will also play a role in refining and improving the processes and methodologies employed by the Strategic Delivery Office, contributing to the continuous evolution of our program and project management practices. Your insights and experience will help us maintain our position as a leader in health tech and a top private cloud company.
  • • For remote roles, you will be expected to travel to our Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City offices for key events such as onboarding, team gatherings, and semi-annual/annual meetings. For hybrid roles, you will need to reside within commuting distance to the specified office location to attend regular in-office team events.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience leading complex, multi-year enterprise transformation programs and/or multiple large-scale projects concurrently.
  • • Demonstrated expertise in program and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and proficiency with relevant project management tools.
  • • Strong understanding of the healthcare technology landscape, particularly in long-term and post-acute care, is highly desirable.
  • • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of an organization, from executive leadership to technical teams.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Opportunity to work with a leading health tech company that is making a significant impact on millions of lives.
  • • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  • • Opportunities for professional growth and development, including training in AI technologies.
  • • Flexible work arrangements, including remote or hybrid options.
  • • Recognition as one of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures and a top private cloud company.
