• • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tech Lead with a strong focus on Data Engineering to join our dynamic international team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights and driving innovation through scalable tech solutions. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and your proficiency in Python to design, develop, and optimize robust data pipelines. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining the infrastructure that underpins our data-driven strategies, working collaboratively with global teams across Europe, the United States, and Brazil.
• • In this role, you will provide essential technical leadership, championing best practices and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our data engineering efforts. Your responsibilities will span the entire data lifecycle, from initial architecture and design through to implementation, testing, and ongoing maintenance. You will be a hands-on contributor, actively involved in developing and optimizing complex ETL processes, transforming raw data into standardized, usable formats.
• • A significant aspect of your role will involve working extensively with Python, a versatile language that will be your primary tool for data manipulation, collection, and transformation. You will harness the power of AWS services, including AWS Glue for efficient data processing, S3 for scalable object storage, IAM for secure access management, and Data Catalog for metadata management. Experience with Redshift for data warehousing will also be highly valued, enabling you to build and manage high-performance analytical databases.
• • Beyond development, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving bugs within existing pipelines, ensuring their continuous operation and reliability. Defining technical standards, conducting thorough code reviews, and actively mentoring junior team members will be crucial to fostering a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing within the team. Your leadership will guide the team towards adopting and adhering to these standards, promoting consistency and maintainability across all projects.
• • You will participate in the complete lifecycle of data solutions, from conceptualization and architectural design to implementation, rigorous testing, and final validation. This end-to-end involvement ensures that solutions are not only technically sound but also meet the specific business and project requirements. A key focus will be on contributing to the continuous improvement of pipeline performance, data quality, and overall data governance, ensuring that our data assets are accurate, reliable, and secure.

• • The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of non-functional requirements such as performance, security, and data privacy, including familiarity with regulations like GDPR. Experience with cloud data platforms beyond AWS, such as Snowflake, and proficiency in automating tasks using Python or other scripting languages will further enhance your candidacy. A solid background in designing, building, and testing data pipelines, coupled with experience in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies, is essential. Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases will be advantageous, providing a comprehensive understanding of data storage and retrieval mechanisms. This role is 100% presencial in our Campinas Base, requiring an excellent level of English (C1 or higher) for daily interaction with international clients and stakeholders.
