- • Fyxer Inc. is seeking a highly strategic and hands-on Lead Product Researcher to join our dynamic team in London. This is a pivotal role for an individual who thrives on driving product strategy and commercial outcomes through deep customer understanding and rigorous research methodologies. - • As the Lead Product Researcher, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our products. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the discovery phase for our most significant product initiatives, guiding them from initial ambiguity through to a validated strategic direction. This involves working collaboratively and directly with our Head of Product, CTO, senior engineers, and founders from the very inception of any new project. You will not be a siloed function; instead, you will be an embedded core partner throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
- • Your expertise will be crucial in designing and executing a diverse range of validation methods tailored to the specific questions at hand. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting in-depth user interviews, developing and testing prototypes, implementing fake door experiments, performing usability testing, analyzing user behavior, and designing and running controlled experiments. The ability to fluidly move between these methodologies, selecting the most appropriate tool for the job, is paramount.
- • A key aspect of this role is the ability to synthesize complex and often messy qualitative and quantitative data. You will be responsible for translating these diverse signals into clear, actionable product direction, influencing both short-term feature enhancements and long-term strategic planning. Your insights will directly inform what we build and why, ensuring our product development is data-driven and customer-centric.
- • Beyond individual projects, you will play a critical role in embedding structured learning loops into Fyxer's operational DNA. The aim is to create a culture where insights compound over time, leading to increasingly sophisticated product development and strategic decision-making. You will be a catalyst for continuous improvement, ensuring that each learning experience builds upon the last.
- • Furthermore, you will be tasked with raising the overall standard of research and product thinking across the team. This will involve actively coaching other team members, introducing scalable research frameworks, and establishing rituals that foster a deeper connection with our customers. Your influence will extend beyond your direct research output, helping to build a more research-mature organization.
- • The ideal candidate is a systems thinker, capable of understanding intricate customer journeys, funnels, and feedback loops. You will connect user behavior not just to isolated features but to broader business outcomes and revenue impact. You possess deep fluency across qualitative research, behavioral insight generation, and experimentation, knowing how to quickly extract strong signals and apply the right methods for any given decision.
- • As an engineering partner, you will excel at translating user insights into clear problem statements and practical trade-offs, influencing product direction through evidence and clarity.
