• • As a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Marqeta, you will be instrumental in developing and scaling the robust backend services that power our innovative modern card issuing platform. • • You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of software development, from initial design and architecture to implementation, testing, and deployment. This includes creating detailed engineering design documentation, meticulously reviewing code to ensure quality and maintainability, and continuously identifying opportunities to enhance our systems, infrastructure, and development processes.
• • A core aspect of your role will involve building and shipping impactful features that directly address customer needs. You will collaborate closely with product stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions, ensuring that we deliver customer value with speed and efficiency.
