📋 Description

• Own the full lifecycle of sophisticated frontend features—from initial scoping and technical architecture through pixel-perfect, production-ready delivery—ensuring every interaction feels effortless and every animation is buttery-smooth.
• Architect and evolve a scalable, maintainable React + TypeScript codebase that powers Peec’s consumer-facing product, balancing rapid iteration with long-term stability and performance.
• Translate Figma designs into flawless, accessible interfaces, obsessing over micro-interactions, spacing, typography, and motion to deliver a world-class visual experience that delights users and sets a new bar for polish in our market.
• Partner daily with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to turn ambitious product ideas into elegant, performant realities, participating in ideation sessions, design critiques, and technical spikes to de-risk and accelerate delivery.
• Champion code quality through rigorous PR reviews, comprehensive unit/integration tests, and continuous refactoring, establishing patterns and conventions that raise the bar for the entire frontend guild.
• Drive the evolution of our shared component library and design system, creating reusable, themeable, and accessible building blocks that empower every squad to ship faster while maintaining visual consistency.
• Optimize for performance and accessibility across devices and networks, leveraging modern tooling (Webpack, Vite, Lighthouse, Axe) to keep bundle sizes tiny, Core Web Vitals green, and WCAG compliance airtight.
• Instrument and monitor user interactions, using analytics and session replays to identify friction points and iterate toward measurable improvements in conversion, retention, and delight.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through pair programming, tech talks, and thoughtful feedback, cultivating a culture of craftsmanship, curiosity, and psychological safety.
• Contribute to strategic technical decisions—evaluating new frameworks, build tools, and deployment strategies—while documenting trade-offs and aligning stakeholders on the chosen path.
• Stay on the cutting edge of frontend innovation, experimenting with upcoming React features, CSS advancements, and browser APIs, then distilling learnings into actionable proposals for the team.
• Occasionally dive into adjacent domains—Firebase Firestore queries, edge functions, or lightweight backend endpoints—when it helps unblock the frontend and deliver a seamless end-to-end experience.
• Represent Peec externally by writing blog posts, speaking at meetups, or contributing to open-source projects, amplifying our engineering brand and attracting top-tier talent.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience, ideally in fast-moving startups or high-growth scale-ups.
• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and React, with a demonstrable history of shipping polished, user-facing products.
• Proven ability to design clean, scalable frontend architectures and maintain component libraries or design systems.
• Exceptional visual sensibility and attention to detail—capable of transforming Figma specs into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces.
• Strong communication skills and ownership mindset; comfortable operating autonomously while keeping stakeholders aligned.
