- • This pivotal role demands a unique blend of business acumen, robust technical expertise, and exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively engage with customers, internal development teams, and third-party software vendors.
- • Your primary responsibility will involve meticulously gathering and documenting client requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and operational challenges.
- • You will then translate these requirements into actionable solutions, leveraging the power of SmartWorks’ comprehensive application suite, including MeterSense Meter Data Management (MDM) and SmartWorks Compass Data Analytics software.
- • A significant aspect of your role will be the seamless integration of SmartWorks’ applications with various third-party software interfaces, requiring a strong understanding of system interoperability and data exchange protocols.
- • You will be the architect of project success, developing and maintaining critical project documentation, including standard operating procedures, technical guides, and implementation plans, ensuring clarity and consistency throughout the project lifecycle.
- • Take the lead in or actively assist in delivering engaging training sessions to SmartWorks’ customers, empowering them to maximize the value of our software solutions.
- • Provide essential implementation support, troubleshooting issues and guiding clients through the adoption process to ensure a smooth and successful deployment.
- • Serve as a key liaison, fostering strong relationships and facilitating effective communication between SmartWorks, our diverse customer base, third-party vendors, and industry consultants.
- • Cultivate a deep and specialized knowledge of Smart Metering infrastructure, understanding its complexities and best practices, particularly in the analysis of the vast amounts of data generated by Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI).
- • Your insights into data analysis will be crucial for helping utilities demonstrate the value of their smart grid investments.
- • Proactively provide the Project Manager with regular, insightful updates on project progress, identifying potential issues, proposing effective resolutions, and highlighting key successes.
- • This role offers the flexibility of remote work within Canada and the US, allowing you to contribute from the comfort of your home, or if preferred, to work from our corporate headquarters in Ottawa, Ontario.
- • Travel throughout North America is anticipated to be approximately 30% of the year, when safe and appropriate, requiring a valid passport/visa.
- • You will play a critical role in enabling the value of the Smart Grid for both utility companies and their customers by implementing and supporting best-in-class products and services.
- • Contribute to the success of SmartWorks BizConnect, a sophisticated consumer engagement portal designed to help utilities showcase their smart grid investments to commercial and industrial customers.
