• • Key responsibilities include architecting, developing, and maintaining scalable, well-tested frontend applications. You will utilize modern frontend frameworks, our comprehensive in-house Design System, and a reusable component library to ensure consistency and efficiency. A significant aspect of this role involves leading technical decisions for our ongoing migration from Svelte to modern React, a critical initiative for enhancing our platform's capabilities and future-proofing our technology stack.
• • You will work in close collaboration with Product Managers, Designers, and Quality Assurance engineers within the Platform Team, ensuring the rapid delivery of high-quality features. This collaborative environment fosters innovation and allows for the swift iteration necessary to meet market demands.
• • A crucial part of your role will be to partner with backend engineers to define scalable API contracts and implement type-safe validation generation, ensuring seamless data flow and robust application integrity. This cross-functional synergy is vital for building a cohesive and high-performing platform.
• • You will be instrumental in improving the Developer Experience (DX) by implementing advanced tooling, enhancing our testing infrastructure, and creating comprehensive documentation. A focus on a great developer experience is paramount to fostering productivity and innovation within the engineering team.
• • Ensuring the performance, reliability, and maintainability of our frontend applications will be a core objective. This includes writing meaningful tests across the testing pyramid – from unit tests to end-to-end tests – to guarantee the quality and stability of our codebase.
• • You will actively participate in the product development lifecycle, from initial discovery and ideation through feedback rounds and design critiques. Your input will be invaluable in shaping product solutions and ensuring they align with user needs and business objectives.
• • Taking ownership of the frontend domain within the Platform Team is expected, and you will have the opportunity to influence platform-wide architectural and strategic decisions. This includes driving alignment between design and development, and tackling complex UX challenges to create intuitive and effective user interfaces.
