📋 Description

• Join Wrike, the leading work management platform, as a Senior Frontend Engineer focused on Product Architecture, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our enterprise-ready, cloud-based collaborative solution.
• This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the core technical foundation of Wrike, influencing client architecture, development tools, and overall product performance.
• You will be empowered to make significant technical decisions that will have a tangible and lasting impact on the Wrike product, driving innovation and enhancing user experience.
• As part of an internal team dedicated to elevating the developer experience, you will focus on critical areas such as architecture, performance optimization, security, code and application metrics, and the automation of development processes.
• Collaborate within a small, focused team of 3 engineers, managed by our Technical Engineering Manager, Ivan Sinegovsky, fostering a culture of shared learning and continuous improvement.
• Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and rectifying performance bottlenecks within our applications, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience for our global customer base.
• You will be instrumental in developing and refining core product features, including advanced routing mechanisms, the implementation and evolution of microfrontend architectures, and the optimization of communication protocols.
• A key aspect of this role involves championing the developer experience by creating and maintaining essential tools, such as linters and other utilities, that streamline the development workflow for our engineering teams.
• Implement robust product monitoring solutions, leveraging code metrics, error tracking, and other advanced mechanisms to guarantee the delivery of high-quality, reliable products.
• Embrace and integrate cutting-edge AI tools into your daily workflow, utilizing coding agents and automation to accelerate development cycles, enhance code quality, and minimize repetitive manual tasks.
• Contribute to the ongoing modernization of our tech stack, which primarily utilizes React and TypeScript, while also maintaining and evolving legacy features built with Angular and Dart.
• Work within a development environment that champions the use of modern AI-based tooling and coding agents, encouraging their adoption for daily development, troubleshooting, and innovation.

• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in frontend development, evaluating their potential application within the Wrike platform.
• Contribute to a culture of technical excellence, sharing knowledge and mentoring junior engineers as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of prior relevant experience in frontend engineering.
• Proven experience in optimizing the performance of web applications.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing microfrontend-based applications.
• Strong proficiency in web development technologies, including React, Webpack, and Redux.
• Curiosity about AI and a demonstrated history of regularly using AI tools to enhance your development workflow.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
