📋 Description
- • As a Functional Support Specialist for Actions and Derivatives, you will play a pivotal role within VO2 Finance, a leading independent French consultancy firm specializing in Tech and Digital transformation. You will be instrumental in supporting a critical Front/Middle Office platform for Global Equities Commodities Derivatives, serving over 800 users worldwide.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to provide daily functional support to Front and Middle Office users, addressing a wide range of issues related to the platform's usage and availability. This involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving problems to ensure seamless business operations.
- • You will be tasked with analyzing user-reported issues, proposing immediate and effective solutions that align with business constraints, and ensuring the continuity of trading and operational activities. This requires a deep understanding of financial markets, particularly equities and equity derivatives.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to gather user requirements and collaborate closely with development teams to translate these needs into functional enhancements and new features for the booking platform.
- • You will be responsible for overseeing daily production deployments, managing configuration changes, and ensuring the high availability of Front Office applications. This includes meticulous planning and execution of releases to minimize disruption.
- • Your contribution will extend to participating in both technical and functional migrations, as well as driving the continuous improvement of the booking platform. This involves identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes to enhance performance and user experience.
- • You will actively support and manage incidents related to the booking tools, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with all stakeholders.
- • The role involves contributing to the maintenance and evolution of the platform, which may include suggesting and implementing enhancements based on user feedback and market trends.
- • You will play a crucial part in automating recurring tasks, thereby increasing efficiency and reducing manual effort across the support function and for end-users.
- • Acting as a key interface, you will foster strong communication and collaboration between Trading, Middle Office, Development, and Production entities, ensuring alignment and efficient problem-solving.
- • You will provide post-production assistance during the launch of major projects, such as Front-to-Accounting integrations, regulatory compliance initiatives, or new business development projects, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption.
- • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives will be vital, focusing on enhancing collaboration among functional support teams located in Montreal, Paris, and Mumbai.
- • You will also contribute to, and potentially lead, initiatives aimed at improving support processes and automation, driven by in-depth technical investigations.
- • The development of support assistance tools will be an important part of your role, creating resources to empower users and streamline support operations.
- • You will be responsible for the maintenance and support of existing scripts, ensuring their reliability and effectiveness.
- • Direct on-site assistance to users will be required, providing hands-on support and training to ensure optimal platform utilization.
