📋 Description

This role offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization that partners with hospitals, health systems, community organizations, and payors to improve mental health access and deliver high-quality care to patients across Illinois and beyond.
• As a 100% remote Telepsychiatrist, you will provide essential psychiatric services to patients aged 5 and older in an outpatient clinic setting, working part-time (8 hours/week) from a private, confidential space. Your clinical expertise will directly impact patient outcomes by delivering timely, evidence-based care in a growing virtual mental health landscape.
• You will conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, evaluations, screenings, diagnoses, and treatment planning for a diverse patient population, utilizing clinical judgment to determine the nature and extent of behavioral health disorders.
• You will prescribe appropriate medications and implement psychotherapeutic treatments, ensuring alignment with best practices and individual patient needs while monitoring for efficacy and side effects.
• You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary care teams—including physicians, psychologists, social workers, and psychiatric nurses—to discuss treatment plans, track progress, and adjust interventions as needed for holistic patient care.
• You will order and interpret laboratory tests when clinically indicated to assess physical health contributors to mental health conditions, ensuring comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluations.
• You will actively participate in treatment team meetings, contributing to the development and periodic review of individualized treatment plans, and take appropriate action when patients refuse or disengage from treatment, in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
• You will maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records and adhere to all clinical, regulatory, and compliance standards, including HIPAA and state-specific telehealth regulations.
• You will engage in continuous learning through case reviews, peer consultation, and optional CME opportunities, enhancing your clinical skills in telepsychiatry and digital health delivery.
• You will represent Array Behavioral Care with professionalism and empathy, upholding the organization’s commitment to equitable, accessible, and high-quality mental health care for underserved populations.

🎯 Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Illinois medical license to practice psychiatry
• 1–3 years of clinical experience since obtaining medical license
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with telehealth technology and digital clinical platforms
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient and team collaboration
• Established and updated CAQH profile (strongly preferred)
