- ⢠As the Benefits Lead/Specialist for North America & LATAM at Trellix, you will be instrumental in shaping and administering our comprehensive benefits programs across a diverse and dynamic region. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of benefits administration, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, and providing exceptional support to our employees. You will be the central point of contact for all benefits-related inquiries and activities, working collaboratively with the broader Human Resources team and other departments to maintain a seamless and effective benefits experience.
- ⢠Your core responsibilities will encompass the meticulous administration of a wide array of benefits programs. This includes, but is not limited to, Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance plans, as well as other specialized benefit accounts, commuter benefits, and retirement plans. You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of all benefit-related data and processes, acting as the primary administrator for these critical employee offerings.
- ⢠A key aspect of this role is maintaining up-to-date knowledge of broader market benefit trends. You will proactively research and analyze these trends, providing insightful recommendations to the Benefits leader for potential enhancements or modifications to our benefit offerings. This forward-thinking approach will help Trellix remain competitive and attractive to top talent.
- ⢠You will serve as the primary point of contact for employees navigating complex benefit issues. This includes providing clear explanations of plan provisions, interpreting policy guidelines, clarifying procedures, and assisting with enrollment eligibility, family status changes, claims, and claims appeal processes. Your ability to communicate complex information clearly and empathetically will be crucial.
- ⢠A significant part of your role will involve managing and optimizing our online benefits administration and employee self-service platforms. You will take ownership of the ongoing use of these sites, overseeing features, procedures, eligibility management, enrollment processes, billing, reporting, and overall system maintenance to ensure a user-friendly and efficient experience for all employees.
- ⢠You will be responsible for auditing and processing vendor billing, ensuring financial accuracy and timely payments. This includes managing retirement or pension plans, which involves close collaboration with the payroll team, conducting annual non-discrimination testing, managing annual audits, overseeing retirement committee activities, and handling all related communications.
- ⢠Data integrity is paramount. You will perform regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of benefit data within our HRIS, specifically Workday, ensuring that information is consistent and reliable across all systems.
- ⢠You will maintain a comprehensive and organized repository of all benefit policies, plan documents, forms, and essential carrier information, ensuring easy access and compliance with record-keeping requirements.
- ⢠Partnering closely with benefits brokers and vendors is essential. You will act as a primary liaison to resolve customer and vendor issues, ensuring that vendor processes are functioning optimally and that service level agreements are met.
- ⢠You will coordinate the preparation and dissemination of clear and timely employee communications regarding benefits, ensuring that employees are well-informed about their options and any changes to the program.
- ⢠Maintaining employee benefit files in strict accordance with internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements, including ERISA, HIPAA, and DOL guidelines, is a critical compliance function.
- ⢠You will establish and maintain a strong understanding of federal and state laws impacting benefit plans, advising on their implications and ensuring ongoing compliance.
- ⢠A key objective will be to evaluate and advise on internal processes, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency within the benefits function.
- ⢠You will be responsible for documenting and maintaining detailed administrative procedures for all assigned benefit processes, creating a standardized and scalable framework.
- ⢠Managing the entire US Open Enrollment process is a major responsibility. This includes developing employee communications, collaborating with brokers on benefit material updates, and updating Workday with new plans and rates. You will also monitor Workday to ensure accurate data transfer to vendors and the correct setup of file feeds.
- ⢠You will manage wellness events, researching new practices and trends to promote employee well-being. Furthermore, you will oversee all leaves and time off plans, processes, and payments, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for employees during these times.
