Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • As an Affiliate & API Partnership Manager at Tilt, you will be instrumental in driving the growth of our financial services for Middle India through strategic affiliate and API partnerships. This role is pivotal in acquiring high-quality customers and directly influences key business metrics such as approval rates, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and overall revenue growth. You will own the entire lifecycle of these partnerships, from initial identification and onboarding to ongoing optimization, commercial management, and fostering strong cross-functional collaboration.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to identify, cultivate, and manage a diverse portfolio of affiliate and API vendors. This involves a proactive approach to sourcing new partners who align with Tilt's mission and target audience, ensuring they meet our quality standards and can deliver valuable customer acquisition.
- • You will be tasked with onboarding these new partners efficiently, providing them with the necessary resources and support to succeed. This includes setting clear expectations, facilitating technical integrations where applicable, and ensuring they understand our product offerings and value proposition.
- • A significant part of your role will involve the continuous optimization of affiliate campaigns. This requires a data-driven mindset, where you will meticulously track performance using analytics platforms like Appsflyer, Excel, or similar tools. Your focus will be on improving lead-to-approval conversion rates, ensuring that the traffic and leads generated by our partners are of high quality and translate into approved customers.
- • You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as approvals, CAC, return on investment (ROI), and lead quality. This data will form the basis for your strategic decisions and campaign adjustments, ensuring that we are maximizing the effectiveness of our partnership spend.
- • Commercial management of vendors is a critical aspect of this role. You will negotiate payout structures and commission rates, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with business objectives. Furthermore, you will actively manage vendor performance, which includes identifying and addressing underperforming partners, and crucially, removing any partners found to be engaging in fraudulent activities to protect Tilt's brand and customer trust.
- • Collaboration is key to success in this role. You will work closely with internal teams, including Technology, Risk, and Product, to ensure seamless API integrations. This involves close coordination on technical requirements, quality checks, and troubleshooting to maintain the integrity and efficiency of our systems.
- • You will be expected to conduct structured performance reviews with partners, providing them with detailed feedback and actionable insights. This also extends to internal reporting, where you will share comprehensive and insightful reports on channel performance, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations for future strategy.
- • By owning and scaling these affiliate and API partner channels, you will directly contribute to Tilt's ambitious growth targets. Your ability to identify opportunities, manage relationships, and drive performance will be essential in building a robust and effective customer acquisition engine for NIRA's financial services in Middle India.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to shape a critical growth channel within a rapidly expanding fintech company. You will have the autonomy to develop and execute strategies, make data-informed decisions, and see the direct impact of your work on the company's success. Your contributions will be vital in expanding access to fair credit for millions of hardworking individuals.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2–5 years of experience in Affiliate Marketing, Partnerships, or API Vendor Management.
- • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in data tracking, campaign optimization, and reporting using tools such as Appsflyer, Excel, or similar analytics platforms.
- • Proven ownership of key performance indicators (KPIs) including approvals, CAC, ROI, and conversion rates.
- • Experience negotiating payouts and managing vendor performance, including identifying and addressing underperforming or fraudulent partners.
- • Strong coordination, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams (Tech, Risk, Product) and external partners.
- • Experience in fintech, NBFCs, or digital lending is preferred but not essential.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Virtual-first teamwork with global collaboration across 14 countries and 12 time zones, including WFH office reimbursement.
- • Competitive compensation packages and generous equity, reflecting our belief in potential.
- • Flexible health plans at every premium level with substantial subsidies that stand up to global standards.
- • Direct exposure to leadership and a culture where good ideas travel quickly, offering significant visibility.
- • Paid global on-site gatherings twice yearly for team reconnection and collaboration (past locations include Vail, San Diego, and Mexico City).
- • Growth opportunities that are tied to contributions rather than rigid promotion timelines, ensuring impact is recognized.
