📋 Description
- • As an Academia Working Student in the Business Development department at Sartorius AG, you will play a vital role in supporting the company’s growth in the life sciences sector by identifying and generating leads for analytical and bioprocess equipment among academic institutions, research institutes, and startups in your region. This position serves as a strategic entry point into a potential future career in Sales & Marketing at a global leader in laboratory and process technologies, allowing you to apply academic knowledge in a real-world business context while contributing to advancements in healthcare innovation.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting target identification and lead generation for Sartorius’ analytical and bioprocess solutions tailored to scientific research, process development, and production environments; working independently and self-organized within academic networks in Istanbul or Ankara to build relationships with researchers, lab managers, and early-stage companies; utilizing innovative networking tools and participating in product training sessions to effectively communicate value propositions; preparing and delivering basic presentations and negotiations to engage prospects; maintaining accurate records of outreach activities and follow-ups; collaborating remotely with the Business Development team to align on regional goals and feedback; and adapting your approach based on market insights from the life sciences ecosystem.
- • You will be part of Sartorius Biyoteknoloji A.Ş., the Turkish subsidiary of Sartorius AG, a globally recognized life science company dedicated to enabling scientific breakthroughs that translate into real-world medical advancements, particularly in areas such as cancer and dementia therapeutics. 🎯 Requirements
- • Currently enrolled as a Bachelor, Master, or PhD student in Biotechnology, Life Science, or a closely related field
- • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (application must be submitted in English)
- • Demonstrated self-confidence, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive, networking-oriented mindset
- • Ability to work independently with high self-motivation and strong organizational skills
- • Foundational presentation and negotiation skills, with willingness to develop them further
