📋 Description
- • The Access Coordinator role is a part-time, remote position serving residents of the Greater Louisville area, providing essential telephone screening and eligibility determination for individuals seeking mental health and social services through Seven Counties Services Inc.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client eligibility assessments, verifying insurance coverage or explaining sliding scale options, collecting demographic and clinical information accurately in electronic health records, performing effective triage and intervention, making appropriate referrals to crisis teams or identified programs, and ensuring follow-up to confirm service connections.
- • The role operates within a mission-driven behavioral health organization committed to service excellence, collaboration across departments and community partners, and maintaining high standards in client care and access coordination.
- • The Access Coordinator will develop strong customer service, communication, and documentation skills while gaining experience in healthcare systems, crisis intervention protocols, electronic health record platforms (such as Netsmart myAvatar), and compliance with organizational and access standards in a supportive, client-focused environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • High School Diploma or GED required
- • One year of healthcare customer service or call center experience with a bachelor’s degree, or three years of such experience with only a high school diploma/GED
- • Proficient in word processing, data entry, and general computer knowledge
- • Reliable high-speed internet connection required for remote work
- • Highly effective listening, communication, and information relay skills in a client-focused environment
