  • • The Access Specialist, Fed Gov role at Motorola Solutions is critical for driving growth in access control sales within the Federal Government market, directly contributing to the company’s mission of enhancing public safety through innovative security technologies.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining and growing an operational and security mindset in access control, educating North American Sales Team members on effective Federal Government engagement, developing deep relationships with Federal accounts, identifying product gaps for Product Management, managing allocated resources like demo equipment and budgets, creating standardized sales tools and presentations, and compiling competitive intelligence to support revenue growth.
  • • The role sits within Motorola Solutions’ Avigilon division, a leader in video analytics, access control, and security solutions deployed across government facilities, critical infrastructure, transportation systems, and more, supporting the company’s broader vision of building safer communities and nations.
  • • The individual will develop expertise in Federal Government sales strategies, access control technologies, cross-functional collaboration, and competitive market analysis, positioning them for advancement in enterprise sales and security solutions leadership within a mission-driven organization.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in Access Control, with a focus in government sales desired
  • • Strong technical acumen and ability to speak confidently about Motorola Solutions’ products and solutions
  • • Proven record of achievement in delivering results and developing collaborative relationships
  • • Strong understanding of the company’s go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy
  • • Time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • • Previous government experience is a plus
  • • Ability to travel up to 50-75% throughout North America as needed
