  • • As an Account Associate in Commercial Insurance, you will play a vital role in supporting the account team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations, accurate policy management, and high-quality customer service for clients in the General, Construction, and Hospitality sectors. Your contributions directly impact client satisfaction, team efficiency, and compliance with insurance regulations, making you an essential part of delivering reliable insurance solutions.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include processing endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and policy releases; managing check requests, invoices, finance agreements, loss runs, MVRs, ID cards, certificates, and binders; identifying and reconciling billing inaccuracies; reviewing policy forms; preparing submissions, online ratings, proposals, and AOR letters; supporting new and renewal business workflows; maintaining accurate and up-to-date data in agency systems; monitoring task completion for timeliness; communicating workload status and issues to the account team; providing proactive and responsive service; ensuring productivity and quality standards are met; participating in team-building activities; seeking and adopting best practices; staying updated on company policies and procedures; enhancing technical skills and industry knowledge; fostering positive relationships with colleagues and leadership; and demonstrating integrity and leadership in alignment with IOA Values.
  • • You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team at IOA USA, a nationally recognized insurance brokerage with 362 locations, where remote work is offered for candidates in Eastern and Central Time Zones who maintain a dedicated, distraction-free workspace.   • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in commercial lines insurance operations, strengthen your analytical and organizational abilities, refine your customer service and communication skills, and gain hands-on experience with agency systems and insurance workflows—positioning you for advancement into senior account management or specialized insurance roles within the organization.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 2+ years of insurance industry experience OR 5+ years of related customer service experience
  • • Active insurance license required (appropriate for state of residence)
  • • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • • Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • • High School Diploma or equivalent
