đź“‹ Description
- • As an Account Director focused on Quantitative Trading at OpenAI, you will own executive and technical relationships with leading buy-side investment firms, including sophisticated multi-manager, systematic, and data-intensive investment platforms, helping them deploy OpenAI across research, data analysis, coding, knowledge retrieval, model evaluation, internal AI platforms, and production workflows.
- • You will manage a focused portfolio of hedge fund and alternative asset management accounts, develop long-term strategic account plans, lead complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles across executive, investment, technology, data, AI, research, legal, security, and compliance teams, and build trusted relationships with highly technical buyers and internal platform teams who evaluate, integrate, and govern AI across the firm.
- • You will partner with Solutions, Product, Engineering, and Research to design pilots and scaled deployments with measurable business impact, help customers identify high-value AI use cases across investment research, data analysis, document intelligence, coding, market monitoring, workflow automation, and internal AI platform development, and navigate regulated, security-sensitive environments with strong judgment around privacy, compliance, information barriers, and responsible AI deployment.
- • You will own revenue, consumption, pipeline, and forecast performance for your book of business, track market structure, technology trends, and AI adoption patterns across hedge funds, multi-manager platforms, systematic investors, and adjacent buy-side firms, and partner cross-functionally with marketing, partnerships, product, and communications to build OpenAI’s hedge fund go-to-market motion.

- • 14+ years of experience selling complex enterprise software, platform, API, cloud, data, AI, or infrastructure products.
- • 4+ years selling into financial services, ideally hedge funds, asset managers, capital markets, or other technically sophisticated buy-side institutions.
- • Strong track record exceeding annual revenue targets of $2M+ in complex enterprise environments.
- • Credible with both C-suite executives and deeply technical stakeholders, including engineering, data, AI/ML, research, and platform teams.
- • Understanding of how hedge funds and investment firms use data, research, analytics, software, and internal platforms to create differentiated investment processes.
- • Experience with API-first products, developer platforms, data infrastructure, AI/ML platforms, or similarly technical enterprise solutions.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Hybrid work model of three days in the office per week.
- • Relocation assistance for new employees.
- • Opportunity to work with some of the most technically demanding customers in financial services.
