- • As a Rare Disease Business Manager for Primary Immune Deficiency and CIDP at Takeda, you will drive sales growth by achieving quotas through new patient starts, retention, and engagement in outpatient infusion centers and hospitals, directly impacting patient access to life-changing therapies.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include conducting sales presentations, educating healthcare professionals on neuromuscular conditions and Takeda’s support resources, analyzing market trends, and collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Patient Services, Market Access, and National Accounts to ensure coordinated care and business success.
- • You will join the U.S. Foundational Therapies Platform (FTP) Business Unit, a patient-focused team dedicated to delivering coordinated care for patients with long-term treatment needs in Immunology, Hematology, LSD, Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency, and Transport, grounded in Takeda’s values of patient-centricity, trust, reputation, and business (PTRB).
- • In this role, you will develop strategic account management skills, strengthen your ability to interpret data for sales strategy, enhance collaborative matrix working, and gain deep expertise in rare disease therapeutics and payer access — positioning you for long-term growth within a global biopharmaceutical leader committed to innovation and equity.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA)
- • 3+ years of successful selling experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries, OR 2+ years of successful selling experience at Takeda
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- • Proven ability to navigate complex selling environments and influence decision-makers across key accounts
- • Strong business acumen and strategic planning skills to identify and execute selling opportunities
- • Demonstrated territory planning, strategic account management, and prioritization skills, including ability to interpret analytical data for effective sales strategies
- • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work within a matrix of cross-functional partners
- • Understanding of payer access and reimbursement at territory, regional, and state levels
- • Valid Driver’s License
- • Reside within the supported territory or geography
