- • As an Account Executive, Commercial at Airwallex, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s footprint in the US SME market by driving revenue growth through strategic sales of its unified payments and financial platform. This role is critical to helping small and medium-sized businesses—especially in ecommerce, SaaS, professional services, and technology sectors—access global financial infrastructure that enables seamless cross-border transactions, spend management, and embedded finance solutions.
- • You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation, deal closure, and early customer success, ensuring smooth onboarding and long-term satisfaction. Your ability to translate complex fintech solutions into clear business value will be essential in building trust and credibility with SME decision-makers.
- • You will collaborate closely with internal teams including legal, finance, product, and strategy to tailor offerings, negotiate contracts, and refine sales processes for scalability and efficiency, contributing directly to Airwallex’s mission of building the future of global banking.

- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in Airwallex’s proprietary payments and financial platform, sharpen your consultative selling skills in a technical B2B environment, and gain exposure to global financial infrastructure—positioning you for accelerated career growth in fintech sales and strategic account management.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 3 years of outbound B2B sales experience in fintech, payments, or adjacent technologies, with proven success selling into small businesses.
- • Track record of exceeding sales targets in a technical or solution-based selling environment.
- • Experience selling to one or more of the following verticals: ecommerce, SaaS/subscription businesses, spend management, finance teams, or other technology-enabled/professional services sectors.
- • Proven ability to consistently generate pipeline and execute outbound sales efforts.
- • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
- • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
