- • Equip Health Inc. is at the forefront of revolutionizing eating disorder treatment, offering a leading virtual, evidence-based program designed to ensure that everyone facing an eating disorder can access effective care. Founded in 2019 by a collaborative team of clinical experts and individuals with lived experience, Equip builds upon established evidence-based treatments to empower individuals on their journey to lasting recovery. Each patient is supported by a dedicated, multidisciplinary care team, comprising a therapist, dietitian, physician, and crucially, a peer and family mentor, providing comprehensive and personalized support.
- • Operating nationwide across all 50 states and partnered with the majority of major health insurance plans, Equip has demonstrated significant positive outcomes in patient recovery. The company's innovative approach and impactful results have garnered recognition, including being named one of TIME's Most Influential Companies of 2023, and receiving accolades from LinkedIn and Lattice for its startup success and people-centric culture. This success is a testament to the passionate, diverse, and highly engaged team of "Equisters" who have cultivated a unique and supportive company culture since Equip's inception as a fully virtual organization.
- • As an Account Executive at Equip Health, you will be instrumental in driving patient acquisition by forging and nurturing strategic relationships across a multi-state territory. This role is pivotal in expanding Equip's reach within healthcare and community organizations, connecting individuals in need with life-changing treatment. You will embody Equip's mission, acting as a key ambassador for the organization, and will require a highly entrepreneurial, self-driven, and proactive approach to your work. This is a remote position that demands a dynamic blend of virtual engagement and consistent in-person interaction within your assigned territory.
- • Your core responsibilities will include developing and executing comprehensive strategies aimed at maximizing Equip's brand visibility and cultivating robust provider relationships within your designated geographic area. This involves proactively identifying and engaging potential referral sources, from healthcare providers to community organizations, and nurturing these connections through a variety of channels.
- • You will be responsible for cultivating new relationships and diligently nurturing existing ones. This will be achieved through a mix of virtual interactions, such as video calls and presentations, and in-person meetings, site visits, and participation in regional events. A key aspect of this role involves close collaboration with Equip’s clinical leaders to ensure that all engagements are not only impactful but also clinically sound and aligned with Equip's treatment philosophy.
- • A significant part of your role will be to deliver on ambitious patient acquisition and admissions goals. This will require close coordination with various internal departments, including clinical operations, referral coordination, and admissions teams, to ensure a seamless and positive experience for both providers and patients.
- • You will be expected to meticulously manage all data related to your outreach efforts, client interactions, and territory performance within a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. This data management is crucial for demonstrating territory performance, identifying key areas for growth and improvement, and informing the development of future strategic initiatives. Regular reporting on these metrics will be essential.
- • Planning and executing successful regional events designed to drive engagement with target professional audiences will be another key responsibility. This includes identifying relevant conferences, organizing educational sessions, and representing Equip in a professional and compelling manner.
- • A deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges within your specific territory is paramount. You will need to effectively position Equip as the ideal solution for providers seeking to offer high-quality eating disorder treatment to their patients.
- • You will also be tasked with identifying inactive providers and developing and implementing actionable plans and timelines to re-engage them, bringing them back into the Equip referral network.
- • Collaboration is key. You will work closely with Referral Coordinators and the Admissions team to ensure a stellar, efficient, and supportive referral process for all provider partners. Furthermore, you will partner with marketing, clinical operations, and payor partnership teams to strategically penetrate new markets and expand Equip's reach.
- • Identifying local sponsorship opportunities and representing Equip at industry conferences and events will be crucial for building brand awareness and establishing Equip as a thought leader in the field.
- • Finally, you will be expected to perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the broader success of the Equip team.
