Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the full-cycle sales process for government agencies and regulated utilities, from first conversation to signed enterprise agreement. You will build and execute targeted account plans that map Promise’s platform to each client’s mission—whether that’s reducing arrears, increasing program enrollment, or delivering benefits with dignity.
- • Navigate complex, multi-year procurement cycles with creativity and precision. You’ll master RFPs, sole-source justifications, cooperative purchasing agreements, and every nuance in between, turning red tape into a competitive advantage.
- • Close new logos and drive expansion revenue within existing accounts. You will manage a pipeline worth millions, forecast accurately, and consistently exceed quota while shortening sales cycles through strategic deal design and senior-level engagement.
- • Establish trusted relationships with C-suite executives, elected officials, program directors, and procurement officers. You’ll become the go-to advisor who translates policy goals into measurable technology outcomes.
- • Partner with Business Development, external advisors, and Promise’s network of public-sector influencers to generate high-quality outbound opportunities. You’ll design and refine messaging that resonates with finance, IT, operations, and policy stakeholders.
- • Deliver tailored demos, ROI models, and board-level presentations that make the value of Promise tangible. You’ll translate technical capabilities into stories that win hearts, minds, and budgets.
- • Collaborate with GTM leadership to open new verticals—water, telecom, transit, housing authorities—and codify winning playbooks. Your insights will shape product roadmap priorities and marketing campaigns.
- • Travel up to 50 % to meet customers on-site, attend industry conferences, and build the face-to-face trust that accelerates six- and seven-figure deals.
- • Continuously improve pipeline performance by leveraging CRM data, A/B testing prospecting sequences, and coaching teammates on best practices. You’ll treat sales like a science and an art.
- • Champion Promise’s mission internally and externally, ensuring every closed deal translates into real-world impact for the more than 80 million residents who rely on government and utility services every day.
