- • TIH Insurance Services, LLC is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Account Executive to join our dynamic team, operating remotely within Texas. This pivotal role serves as a key liaison between our valued brokers, underwriters, and team leaders, providing comprehensive support across all policy lifecycles and key accounts. You will be instrumental in fostering strong relationships with brokers, actively promoting, selling, quoting, and managing renewals for existing agents, while also driving the acquisition of new business. This position demands a proactive approach, a deep understanding of the insurance landscape, and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy.
- • As an Account Executive, your primary responsibility will be to drive new and renewal business to meet and exceed production market criteria, as defined by our brokers, with minimal supervision. This involves skillfully negotiating terms and conditions with underwriters, including critical aspects such as pricing, deductibles, enhancements, and exclusions, ensuring favorable outcomes for our clients and the company. You will leverage your expertise to select the most appropriate carriers for each account, meticulously evaluating their offerings and alignment with client needs.
- • A significant part of your role will involve providing timely and accurate quotations for new business, renewals, and endorsements. This requires adept management of all company correspondence, ensuring prompt and professional communication. You will also be tasked with preparing insightful recommendations for agents, presenting fact-based information and highlighting the best coverage options available to meet specific client requirements. This consultative approach is crucial for building trust and demonstrating our value proposition.
- • Furthermore, you will meticulously process new business applications, which includes transferring information to CRC applications, issuing binders and invoices, and rigorously checking policy coverages for accuracy against CRC guidelines. The same level of diligence will be applied to processing renewal business, which may involve locating client files, preparing and mailing solicitor letters, gathering preliminary submission information, issuing binders and invoices, and verifying policy coverages for accuracy. Your attention to detail in these processes is paramount to maintaining operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
- • Upon binding an account, you will be responsible for acquiring confirmations from retailers, ensuring a seamless transition. You will also expertly handle cancellation and endorsement requests, including the issuance of binders and invoices, and the critical verification of policy coverages for accuracy. To support client engagement and strategic decision-making, you will prepare comprehensive company profiles and conduct thorough research analysis for client visits, equipping our brokers with the necessary intelligence.
- • In addition to these core responsibilities, you will provide direction and supervision to the team as requested by your Broker, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. You will manage incoming calls from producers and companies, serving as a professional and knowledgeable point of contact. Maintaining strong, positive working relationships with current agents and your co-workers is essential for team cohesion and overall success.
- • Continuous professional development is a cornerstone of this role. You are expected to maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry and emerging sales ideas through regular attendance at workshops, seminars, literature reviews, and formal continuing education.
