- • As an Account Executive, you will be instrumental in generating Cloud Compute revenue, with a strategic focus on acquiring and expanding business within key target accounts. Your primary objective will be to identify and engage with prospective customers who can benefit from Vultr's powerful and flexible cloud solutions, including Cloud Compute, Cloud GPU, Bare Metal, and Cloud Storage.
- • You will collaborate closely with our Sales Development team to efficiently open doors and conduct thorough needs assessments, understanding customer requirements for cloud infrastructure and related products and services. This partnership is crucial for building a robust pipeline and ensuring a seamless transition from lead generation to deal closure.
- • This role demands complete ownership of the sales cycle, from initial prospecting and qualification through to negotiation, closing, and post-sale engagement. You will be responsible for managing your pipeline effectively, providing accurate forecasting, and leveraging our robust sales technology stack, including Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and other essential tools, to maximize your productivity and success.
- • A key aspect of this position involves conducting in-depth technical discovery sessions with Engineering buyers. You will need to articulate the value proposition of Vultr's offerings in a way that resonates with technical stakeholders, demonstrating a deep understanding of their challenges and how our solutions can address them.
- • You will act as a trusted advisor to your clients, building strong relationships based on expertise and reliability. This includes understanding their current infrastructure, future needs, and strategic goals to position Vultr as the ideal partner for their cloud and AI initiatives.
- • Collaboration is at the heart of Vultr's culture. You will work hand-in-hand with our Solutions Engineering team to provide technical expertise during the sales process and to gather valuable customer feedback. This feedback loop is essential for informing our Product Management team, contributing to the ongoing development of our product roadmap and ensuring we continue to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the cloud computing landscape, with a particular emphasis on AI and Machine Learning technologies. You should be comfortable discussing complex technical concepts with a diverse range of stakeholders, including data scientists, engineers, infrastructure managers, and operations teams.
- • Beyond technical acumen, you will need exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to engage in both technical and business-level conversations, tailoring your approach to the audience, is paramount. A proactive, self-motivated attitude, coupled with a collegial and collaborative spirit, will be essential for success in this role.
- • This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly expanding, privately-held cloud infrastructure company with a significant global presence and a strong financial backing. You will be at the forefront of innovation in cloud and AI, contributing directly to Vultr's continued success and shaping the future of cloud infrastructure.
- • Your contributions will directly impact Vultr's revenue targets and market position. You will be empowered to manage your territory strategically, identify new business opportunities, and cultivate long-term client relationships.
- • We are looking for individuals who are not only driven by success but also by a desire to learn and grow. Vultr is committed to professional development, and you will have access to resources and support to enhance your skills and knowledge in the rapidly evolving cloud and AI sectors.
- • The role requires a proactive approach to pipeline management, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified opportunities. You will be expected to develop and execute strategic account plans for your target accounts, identifying key decision-makers and influencers.
- • You will represent Vultr at industry events, webinars, and customer meetings, acting as a brand ambassador and thought leader in the cloud and AI space.
