  • • As an Account Executive at Hive, you will be entrusted with the entire sales lifecycle. This is a true full-cycle sales opportunity where you will be responsible for everything from identifying and nurturing potential leads to closing deals.   • • Your primary responsibility will be to own and execute the full sales cycle. This encompasses a wide range of activities, including proactive prospecting, engaging in cold outreach, skillfully navigating negotiations, and ultimately securing new business. You will be expected to meticulously build and manage your sales pipeline using Salesforce, ensuring precision, accuracy, and unwavering accountability in all your tracking and reporting.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve driving consistent outbound activity on a daily basis. This includes strategic cold calling, crafting personalized email campaigns, leveraging video outreach, and engaging prospects through LinkedIn. The goal is to identify and connect with potential clients who can benefit from Hive's innovative solutions.
  • • You will be responsible for conducting high-impact discovery calls and delivering compelling product demonstrations. These interactions are crucial for understanding prospective clients' unique challenges and pain points, and effectively articulating how Hive's platform can provide tangible solutions and deliver significant value.
  • • Success in this role requires a proactive and agile approach. You will need to prioritize your tasks effectively, adapt swiftly to changing market dynamics and client needs, and execute your sales strategies with a sense of urgency and determination.
  • • Collaboration is key to our success. You will partner closely with our Marketing and Customer Success teams to continuously refine and enhance our Go-To-Market (GTM) playbook. This cross-functional synergy will ensure a cohesive and effective approach to acquiring and retaining customers.
  • • Accurate forecasting and consistent achievement (or exceeding) of your sales quota are critical metrics for this position. We are looking for individuals who can reliably predict their performance and deliver exceptional results.
  • • Hive.co is the premier marketing platform for event marketers, revolutionizing the industry with its innovative and seamless integration with various ticketing platforms. This integration puts customer data directly at the fingertips of marketers, enabling them to build data-driven customer journeys. We integrate with tech partners like Eventbrite, Ticketmaster, AXS, Dice, Tixr, Etix, and Shopify to let brands act on all their data, so they can easily segment their list in thousands of ways, and send more customized, timely email campaigns that land in inboxes. We pride ourselves on helping brands understand their email and SMS marketing, all while selling more and keeping their customers engaged. We started our company inside a University of Waterloo computer lab in early 2014, graduated from Y Combinator that summer (S14 batch) and have been growing ever since. 🎯 Requirements

  • • 2+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience, ideally in a fast-paced startup or tech environment.
  • • Proven ability to independently generate pipeline and manage the entire sales process from prospecting to close.
  • • Strong proficiency with CRM software, specifically Salesforce or similar platforms, for pipeline management and reporting.
  • • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
  • • Demonstrated resilience, resourcefulness, and a competitive, goal-driven mindset focused on exceeding targets.
