- • As an Account Executive, Agency at Scrunch, you will be instrumental in driving new business acquisition within digital, SEO, content, and performance marketing agencies. Your primary focus will be on guiding these agencies through one of the most profound industry shifts they have ever encountered: the transition to an AI-first discovery landscape. You will engage directly with agency leadership, including Founders, Managing Directors, and Heads of SEO, Content, and Strategy, educating them on how Scrunch enables superior client outcomes, fosters differentiation, and enhances client retention within an increasingly algorithm-driven ecosystem.
- • This role demands end-to-end ownership of the full sales cycle, from the initial engagement and discovery phases through negotiation and final closing. You will collaborate closely with our Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to develop and refine a scalable and repeatable go-to-market strategy specifically tailored for agencies. This position is ideally suited for a sales professional who possesses a deep understanding of agency economics, is adept at services-led sales motions, and excels in partner-style selling. Crucially, you must thrive in the dynamic and fast-paced environment characteristic of an early-stage startup.
- • Your core responsibilities will include owning the complete sales cycle for agency accounts, encompassing prospecting, in-depth discovery, negotiation, and closing deals. You will be tasked with selling a strategic platform to agency leaders, demonstrating how it empowers them to differentiate their services, retain their existing clients, and achieve greater success in an AI-first discovery world. You will manage consultative, multi-stakeholder sales processes, engaging with founders, partners, and senior marketing leaders. Pipeline generation will be a key aspect of your role, achieved through a combination of inbound leads and proactive, targeted outbound efforts directed at SEO, content, and digital agencies.
- • Furthermore, you will foster a strong partnership with the Customer Success team to ensure seamless handoffs, facilitate early adoption, and identify opportunities for account expansion. Collaboration with the Marketing and Product teams is vital for refining agency-specific messaging, packaging, and overall go-to-market strategy. Success in this role will be measured by the clarity with which agencies understand Scrunch's value proposition in delivering enhanced client outcomes, the cultivation of a robust and growing pipeline of high-quality agency opportunities, and strong close rates driven by consultative discovery and clear articulation of value. You will also be responsible for ensuring clean handoffs to Customer Success that position accounts for successful adoption and future expansion. Internally, you will be recognized as a key contributor to shaping Scrunch's agency go-to-market motion. A strong bias for learning is essential, coupled with a consistent habit of staying abreast of the latest agency trends, advancements in AI-driven discovery, and evolving shifts within the AI landscape.
