  • • As an Account Executive, you will own your territory, focusing on acquiring new Commercial clients and expanding relationships within existing accounts.
  • • You will be responsible for building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, leveraging inbound leads, cold calling, and strategic networking.
  • • Utilize our formalized sales process, ideally MEDPICC, to ensure a structured and effective approach to sales.
  • • Drive new business growth by consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas and maintaining a high volume of outbound activity.
  • • Identify and engage key decision-makers within target accounts, developing and closing new business opportunities to achieve ambitious targets.
  • • Foster organic growth by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell 1Password’s comprehensive suite of solutions, with a particular focus on Extended Access Management.
  • • You will be expected to close multi-product deals, identifying opportunities and securing large-value transactions that incorporate multiple product SKUs.
  • • Represent 1Password at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand presence, generate leads, and cultivate relationships with potential customers.
  • • Engage with CISO’s, CIO’s, and other VP-level contacts, demonstrating excellent executive presence and a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape.
  • • Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends and developments, especially in Identity and Access Management, to provide clients with valuable insights and position 1Password as an industry thought leader.
  • • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including Business Development Representatives (BDRs), Solutions Engineers, Channel Partners, Onboarding specialists, and Customer Success Managers.
  • • Develop tailored solutions that meet client needs, optimize client engagement, and identify new growth opportunities through cross-functional teamwork.
  • • Cultivate multi-threaded relationships within client organizations to enhance overall account health and ensure long-term customer success.
  • • Strategically leverage relationships with Partners, Alliances, and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to create and close new opportunities.
  • • Implement solution selling strategies, aligning 1Password’s offerings with client needs, objectives, and pain points, positioning our solutions as essential, strategic tools.
  • • Demonstrate a profound understanding of client challenges and effectively communicate how our products provide strategic solutions.
  • • Confidently present to C-suite executives, employing a consultative approach to articulate the value proposition of our products and services.
  • • Create Mutual Action Plans (MAPs) to align sales teams and prospects on responsibilities, key steps, and timelines for closing deals.
  • • Lead high-stakes negotiations with a focus on achieving mutually beneficial outcomes for both 1Password and our clients.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 4+ years of SaaS sales experience, preferably in security with a focus on Commercial accounts, OR top performance in SMB and ready to step up.
  • • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and KPIs, achieving President’s Club, top of stack ranking and KPIs.
  • • Demonstrated experience in delivering accurate forecasts to upward management.
  • • Advanced skills in prospecting, pipeline building, strategic account planning, value-based selling, and territory management, with meticulous operating rigor in pipeline management, forecasting, and pacing to target.
  • • Business acumen, relationship building, solution selling, negotiation, & presenting to C-Suite.
  • • Proficient in Salesforce, with a consistent track record of accurately and comprehensively documenting all stages of the sales cycle.
  • • Resilient, self-motivated, and committed to consistently achieving targets while thriving in a remote environment.
  • • Curious and coachable, with a proven ability to apply feedback, adapt, and continuously improve.
  • • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • • Experience with MEDDPICC preferred.
  • • Proficiency with Slack, Zoom, LinkedIn Sales Navigator & Outreach preferred.
  • • Willingness to travel within your region for client meetings and industry events.
